Bonnie and Abby worked on the spell for hours to no avail.
"Are you even trying," Bonnie asked.
"I am," Abby said.
"Clearly not enough," Bonnie scolded.
"Maybe I can help."
Bonnie did a double-take on seeing Lake.
"Lake? What are you doing here?! You're supposed to be with Jody," Bonnie said.
"I came to visit you. And it's a long story," Lake said, "What spell are we doing?"
"No, you are turning around and going back home," Bonnie said.
"For fuck sake, stop treating me like a child! I am strong enough to help," Lake snapped, "For once in your life, just let me!"
Bonnie's eyes softened, but the look of worry still lingered.
"Fine," Bonnie said, "Just don't push yourself past what you can handle, okay?"
"Okay," Lake said, standing in Abby's place.
Abby explained the spell to her. Lake began following Bonnie's lead with the chanting.
Abby watched her granddaughter perform the spell. She was powerful. Really powerful. It was a bit unnerving.
Her power didn't only belong to the Bennett bloodline. There was another witch's bloodline mixed in her as well.
Abby remained quiet for now. She'd address it after they finished. Soon enough, the spell on the coffin was lifted.
They stared at the coffin before Bonnie opened it. A woman laid inside, making Lake knit her eyebrows in confusion.
"Who is this," Lake asked, quietly.
Abby stepped towards her granddaughter.
"Lake, how did you find us?"
Lake glanced over at Abby. She stared back at her, suspiciously.
"A location spell," Lake said.
"That would be impossible. There's a cloaking spell on this place. You wouldn't be able to find us here," Abby reasoned.
"Maybe your cloaking spell isn't as strong as you'd like to think," Lake snarked, "Either way, I found you when you needed me."
Lake turned and walked out. Bonnie shot a glare at her mother and chased after her.
