Sasha took a seat on the couch and closed her eyes.
"Uncle Gabe, it's Sasha Winchester. I need your help with ballroom clothes? Are you available," Sasha said, praying to him.
Seconds later, Gabriel showed up eating on a lollipop. He pushed the candy to the side of his mouth with his tongue to smile at her.
"Hey, kiddo," Gabriel greeted.
Sasha ran up to him and tackled him with a hug. Gabriel laughed lightly while catching her in his arms.
"Now you said ballroom clothes? For all four of you," Gabriel asked, glancing at her friends.
He's heard about them plenty of times. Sasha often told Gabriel about her 'adventures' when she was younger.
He pretty much took care of her when Dean, Sam, and Castiel were too busy. So Gabriel had become her favorite angel.
"If you have anything available," Sasha said, "Especially for my friend, Lake. She's got a guy waiting for her."
"Sasha," Lake said.
"What," Sasha shrugged innocently.
"Alright, stand back and let me work my magic," Gabriel said, stretching his arms above his head.
His wings stretched out as well. He raised his hand and snapped his fingers.
Later that evening, Elijah looked around the room. A glass of untouched champagne rested in his hand. His thumb trailed along the edge of it.
His eyes latched onto Lake as she walked into the room. Her baby blue dress looked stunning on her.
She made eye contact with him and waved. Elijah waved back with a small smile. He made his way over to her.
"You look lovely tonight," Elijah said.
"Thank you," Lake chuckled, "This place looks amazing."
"It's only the ballroom," Elijah said, "You should see the rest. I can show you, if you'd like."
Lake knitted her eyebrows.
"Something wrong?"
"You are flirting with me, aren't you," Lake asked.
"You seem surprised," Elijah smirked, "Has nobody flirted with you before?"
"It's not that. I recently did some research on the Mikaelson family," Lake said, "You guys are supposedly vampire royalty or something?"
Elijah huffed out a chuckle.
"You make me sound so... Prideful," Elijah said.
