Lake was pulled out of the Mikaelson ball by Sasha.
"What's wrong," Lake asked.
"I got a text from Dominic saying he's gone home to talk with Malia," Sasha said.
"Is she okay," Lake asked.
"I don't know. He's not answering his phone," Sasha said, "Listen, I'm getting worried. I have a feeling he's in trouble."
"Okay. We'll talk to Ace, and we can go check on him," Lake said.

"Dominic's. There is someone else's. It's not exactly a vampire or werewolf. It's like... A different species altogether," Ace said.
"Lake, do you think you're able to figure out whose blood is this," Sasha asked.
"I don't believe I have to," Lake said, returning with Malia behind her.
They stood up to address the werecoyote.
"Malia, right? You're Dominic's little sister," Sasha said.
"Yeah. You're his friends that he always rants about," Malia said, looking at their faces, "I'm guessing, you're the vampire."
"Ace Salvatore. And I'm not an enemy, trust me," Ace introduced, "Do you know who took your brother?"
"A guy. Dominic seemed really worried. He also moved hella fast, so I thought he was a vampire," Malia explained, "Dominic said his name was Claws or..."
