Ace rushed into the Beacon Hills hospital, searching for a specific person. He found the correct room number, then he barged in.

"Isaac! I came as soon as I heard," Ace said, going to the werewolf's bedside, "Are you okay? What happened? Do you need blood? I'll give you my blood."

Ace rolled up his sleeves. Before he could bite down, Isaac stopped him.

"Ace, relax. I'm not dying... Well, not anymore but," Isaac said.

"You were dying," Ace snapped, his concern increasing by the minute.

"It's okay. I'm okay," Isaac reassured with a small chuckle.

Ace tore his eyes away from him. He could still see the panic on the vampire's face. It always stings when Isaac causes that look.

"Look at me, fangs," Isaac said, guiding his attention back to him, "I'm safe. You're not getting rid of me that easily."

Ace grabbed his hand, pressing five kisses to his knuckle.

Isaac and Ace had started dating two months ago. At first, it was tricky for them, since one was a vampire and the other was a werewolf.

They were natural enemies. Somehow they made it work, and became damn near inseparable.

"Every time something bad happens, it doesn't mean I'm going to die," Isaac said, pulling him closer, "But I do find it attractive that you get so worked up over me."

Ace let out a small laugh.

"I know, you're okay. You're stronger than you give yourself credit for. I just worry about you," Ace said softly.

Ace pressed a kiss to his lips. He felt Isaac's human teeth gently clamp down on his bottom lip. He tugged on it, making a groan leave his mouth.

A knock on the hospital door brought back their awareness. They looked over at Melissa McCall.

"I can come back," Melissa said, visibly tensing at the sight of Ace.

Melissa had been notified that Ace was a vampire. He reassured her that he wouldn't harm her, but she's still cautious.

"You're fine, Nurse McCall," Ace said, leaning away from Isaac.

"Your results came back, and you're fine. Ace is free to take you home," Melissa said, nodding at the vampire.

"Good, I hate hospitals," Isaac complained, "No offense."

"None taken, Isaac," Melissa smiled, walking out.
