The next day was declared a holiday, a much-needed respite for everyone after the intense events at the USJ. Despite the relief of having a day off, your parents' overprotectiveness was in full force, and they were not leaving you alone for a second.

"I'm so sorry I wasn't able to be there," your dad repeated for what felt like the eighteenth time. He had been out of Japan on a business trip during the attack and was clearly feeling guilty about it.

"It's fine," you replied, your annoyance beginning to show. "I'm not hurt! Look at me!" You gestured to yourself, trying to reassure them. "Please stop being overprotective."

Your mother, the retired hero Puppeteer, watched you with a mixture of concern and understanding. "We just want to make sure you're alright, sweetheart. Yesterday was intense, and we were so worried."

"I know, but I'm not your little kid anymore. Look at me, I'm 16 years old. Sixteen! That's practically an adult! But you still treat me like a little kid," you said in frustration, your voice rising.

Your parents exchanged a glance, and your father sighed. "We know you're growing up, Y/N. It's just... you're our only child, and we can't help but worry. Especially after what happened yesterday."

"Dad, I handled myself out there. We all did. It was scary, but we got through it. And I can't keep doing this if you don't trust me to take care of myself," you said, trying to keep your voice steady.

Your mother stepped closer, placing a gentle hand on your shoulder. "You're right. We need to give you the space to grow and learn on your own. It's just hard for us to let go sometimes."

Your father nodded, his expression softening. "We'll try to be less overprotective. We just love you so much, and we want to keep you safe."

You took a deep breath, feeling some of the tension ease. "I know, and I love you too. But I need to be able to stand on my own, especially if I'm going to be a hero."

Your parents both smiled, pride evident in their eyes. "We're proud of you, Y/N," your mother said. "And we'll always be here for you, no matter what."

Feeling a sense of relief, you hugged them both. "Thanks, Mom. Thanks, Dad."

As the day went on, your parents made a conscious effort to give you more space, and you could see that they were trying to trust you more. It was a small step, but it was a start.

You spent the rest of the holiday resting and reflecting on the events at the USJ, preparing yourself mentally for the challenges that lay ahead. You knew that being a hero wasn't just about fighting villains; it was also about growing, learning, and becoming stronger in every way possible.

"Y/N-chan, I didn't know your mom was a pro hero!" Ochako exclaimed, excitement in her voice.

"Yeah, I thought your last name sounded familiar!" Midoriya added, his eyes wide with enthusiasm.
