Having had enough, you went to the bathroom to wash your face and de-transform. You gave Ikkyu some food as he hovered nearby, And transform again. By the time you returned, the results were out:

1st place: Midoriya Izuku
2nd place: L/N Y/N
3rd place: Todoroki Shoto
4th place: Bakugo Katsuki

You didn't have the energy to fangirl over Midnight, who was back on stage. You just wanted to go home and sleep.

"Ikkyu, next time we are practicing on our stamina and flying," you said, determined and a bit bitter.

Midnight announced the next game: a cavalry battle.

"Oh, crap, I suck at cavalry battles!" Kaminari cursed, looking worried. You patted his back and said, "I've never played it before..."

Midnight then explained the rules and mentioned that the higher you ranked, the more points you had. The first place held 10 million points.

"WOAH, WE DODGED A BULLET!" Ikkyu exclaimed, surprised and happy.

Everyone's eyes were on Midoriya, who was sweating bullets. You couldn't help but feel a mix of relief and bitterness.

"That should've been my main character moment," you pouted in a corner, feeling a bit dejected.

Soon everyone started teaming up. You looked around, wondering who to team up with. Bakugo was out since you had a fight with him. Todoroki was too out since he had basically declared a war on you. Class 1-B was out too since they seemed to hate your class. That left you with Midoriya and Shoji.

You saw Mineta go up to Shoji- and that was it. You were not teaming up with him.

You thought about teaming up with Midoriya. "Originally those points were supposed to be mine," you muttered to yourself.

Ikkyu looked at you with a deadpan expression. "You're no less than Bakugo sometimes..."

"But with Midoriya, I don't think he can do anything other than being the rider... and I wanna be the rider," you pouted.

In the end, you went to Midoriya. Uraraka was already with him. "Mind if I join you?" you asked.

Midoriya, as usual, got teary-eyed. "L/N! Please!"

Soon, another girl joined you, introducing herself as Hatsume and saying how she wanted to make her "babies" shine.

"Well, here's what I think we should do," you began. "I will be the rider, Midoriya you should be the horse, Uraraka and Hatsume will be the supporters!" It made sense, and everyone nodded in agreement. "You agree, right Midoriya? I mean, you wouldn't want a girl to be a horse, right?" You blinked with your doe eyes, getting close to him.

Midoriya blushed at how close you were. "H-Huh?! Ye-Yeah!"

"Sometimes you scare me, Y/N," Ikkyu mumbled, shaking his head. In the end you got what you wanted, You were happy!

And with that, the battle began!

Instead of having the headband on your head, you tied it around your neck. "I'm so smart. No one will be able to take this off me now," you giggled to yourself.

"Uh, they will, and you'll probably end up choking too," Ikkyu pointed out.

"Oh..." you quickly tied it back on your head. "I didn't think of that."

Ikkyu stared at you, genuinely worried. "Did she lose some brain cells in the race...?"

The whistle blew, signaling the start of the cavalry battle. You gripped Midoriya's shoulders, ready for anything. "Okay, team, let's do this!" you shouted, trying to sound confident.
