Midoriya, Uraraka, and you decided to walk home together since Iida had gone ahead first. Ikkyu was comfortably nestled in your jacket pocket.

Soon, Uraraka took her leave, and you and Midoriya were left alone.

"So, say, Mido," you began, looking at him while fidgeting with your fingers. "Uraraka and Bakugo call you by a nickname."

"I also want to call you by a special nickname," you pouted, your eyes twinkling with excitement.

"But you call me Mido," he replied, scratching the back of his head.

"No, I want it to be more special! You saved me from falling before, so I want a special nickname for you," you said, your smile widening as you turned to him.

Midoriya’s cheeks flushed as he looked at you with a mix of surprise and shyness. "Midoriya Izuku," you said, using his full name for emphasis. "Izuku... Izu!" You beamed at him. "Can I call you Izu?! You can also call me whatever you want!"

Midoriya’s face turned even redder, and he stammered, "Uh, s-sure! I-I’d like that. And I’ll think of a special nickname for you too."

You clapped your hands together, thrilled. "Awesome! I can’t wait to hear it!"

You both walked to the train station together then parted ways.

You were lounging in the living room, staring at your picks for internships, when your mom came in and plopped down next to you

You were lounging in the living room, staring at your picks for internships, when your mom came in and plopped down next to you. "Stop making that ugly face," she scolded, peering at you with a mix of concern and exasperation.

"I'm not making an ugly face..." you pouted, crossing your arms.

Your mom’s attention shifted to the sheet in your hand. "Ah, the internship picks are out already?" She grabbed the sheet and began reading through the options. "What are you picking?"

Your frown deepened as you sighed, "I don’t know. I’m so confused."

She nodded thoughtfully, then her eyes suddenly lit up as she spotted a name on the list. "Y/N! You should go to this hero!" She pointed excitedly at a name you didn’t recognize.

"That hero isn’t even known!" you exclaimed, throwing your arms up dramatically. "They might be a total flop!"

"Trust me, it’s the best choice for you," she said, her voice dripping with sincerity. "And if it turns out to be a disaster, at least you’ll only have me to blame!"

You raised an eyebrow. "Wow, Mom, I didn’t know you had a future in motivational speaking or as a self-help guru."

She laughed, nudging you playfully. "Well, if you’re going to blame me, you might as well give me some credit first!"

With a resigned sigh and a chuckle, you decided to trust her advice. "Alright, Mom. If this turns out to be a disaster, I’m holding you responsible."

As you looked at the list with renewed determination, you couldn’t help but feel a bit better. After all, at least you’d have a good story to tell if things didn’t go as planned.
