In the final hours of their harrowing journey through WICKED, they believed they had lost everything. The flare-infected world beyond the walls of the city, had proven no less treacherous, and their numbers had dwindled with each passing day. Thomas and the others had reached the Safe Haven, a safe place where they could finally be happy and free, but at a terrible cost: the lives of their friends, Teresa and Newt.
Teresa felt terrible about what she did. She betrayed them, she betrayed him. Even tho she loved him, and know he probably hated her. She doesn't blame him if he does, she would probably hate her too. But anyways, that's not the main problem. She told herself that, if she could do anything so he could forgive her, she would. So she did. She knew deep down that Newt was one of the most important thing tom him, if not THE most important.
The girl tried all she could to bring him back, to save him. Because she couldn't save the others, she atleast wanted to save him. She knew that Thomas blood was the cure, he was the cure. So she took the serum and went looking for Newt.
There wasn't a day where Thomas didn't think about them. He blames himself so badly, what if he stayed with WICKED, apparently his blood could have saved a lot of people, it could have saved Newt... He knew he was supposed to feel happy, but he couldn't stopped thinking about what if he could have saved him, about what if he was there with them.
What if he was still alive.
Tbh i came up with this idea yesterday at night (probably not yesterday when i will post this but anyway) and i thought it was a great idea i guess, because seriously... I'm still not over Newt's death even after a few years. I'M SO MAD THAT THEY KILLED HIM PLS. He fr deserved his happy ending, more than others :(
(Thomas is still my fav BUT i love Newt he's such a cutie)
