Chapter 55

⦓Scarabia- Vacant Room⦔

"I'm wiped out," Grim complains as he enters the room. "I can't walk another step... but I need to go find my henchman, they could help me." Grim goes to where the hidden hole is and uncovers it to keep digging.

⦕Small time skip...⦖

⦓Scarabia- Hallway⦔

"Phew..." Grim feels a wave of relief. "I finally made it out of that stupid room." Grim takes a few steps in the hallway and his stomach growls.

"What was that earth-shaking noise just now?!"

"It came from the Ramshackle students' room!"

"Ah, crud," Grim frowns. "I was diggin' so hard there, it made me hungry... I'm in trouble now!"

"What do you think you're doing there?!" A few students came around a hallway corner and saw Grim.

"What are you doing outside?! I know we locked that door tight!"

"There's a hole in the floor! You really don't know when to give up, do you?" The hole Grim dug was discovered. Grim took his chance and began running from the students.

"We've got a runner! After them!" The students chase after Grim. They chase Grim for a bit before they lose him. Grim had decided to duck into a random room.

"I think they're gone," Grim sighs after hearing retreating footsteps. Grim tries to look around the dark room with the light that comes off his flamed ears. Grim feels a few pokes on his shoulder and kinda sees the carpet Kalim showed him a few days ago. Grim convinces the carpet to give him a ride out of the dorm in exchange for its freedom.

"WOO-HOO!! I made it!" Grim cheers as the carpet soars out of the dorm into the night sky. "See ya, suckers! FREEDOOOOOM!!"

"Look over there—he's riding the housewarden's magic carpet!" The students that were chasing after Grim looked up from the courtyard.

"First they break out, then they rob us? The housewarden will never let us hear the end of it if he finds out!"

"We have to seize them! Hold it right there, thieves!"

"If you wanna catch me, try learnin' to fly first," Grim laughs. He tries to steer the carpet so he can return back to Ramshackle. The carpet starts to spin and changes direction to head towards the dorm mirror.

"They're going outside the dorm! After them, quick!" The carpet and Grim go through the dorm mirror, leaving Scarabia.

Your Pov...

"Azul, hay alguien en el salón," I say as I heard a crash from the dorm's lounge. Azul and I were asleep on the VIP couches. He mumbles out a few sentences before getting up. He stands up and walks over to me to get me awake. I groan as I feel Azul's hand on my shoulder, gently shaking me to get up. I sit up and Azul grabs his glasses off the table by the couches.

"Well, well," Azul and I hear Jade's voice as we walk to the entrance of the lounge. "What have we here? Patrons in search of a little midnight snack, perhaps?"

"Aw, maaan," Floyd whines. "I was totally ready to squeeze any burglars here to nab our food supplies. It's just the Seal. Laaame."

"Wha..." Grim seems unoriented. "What're you guys doin' here?"
