AYA'S POV
I felt my phone vibrate inside my pocket and check on it while still chewing Chole's corndog.
Aya: Wait Chole, thank you
My eyes widen after reading the message I received.
Message: (1)
Kai-sungot👿🍆: Already in the car. If you're not here within 3 mins. sa labas ka matutulog
Aya: Chole! I need to go shit. Bye at thank you and see you sa school!
I quickly went off and ran towards the parking lot. 3 minutes??? eh ang layo-layo ko pa bwiset ka talaga Kai. Was running as fast as I can. Finally spotted her car at tinukod ang kamay ko sa gilid to catch my breath but she then started the engine at akma nang aalis.
Aya: HUY WAIT!
I immediately opened the door at umupo kaagad.
Aya: Baliw ka ba! You really wanted to leave me here?!
She just ignored me and started backing the car. Ang tahimik na naman namin sa loob nag-isip ako kung anong pwedeng i-topic to ease the tension.
Aya: Alam mo-
Kai: Where does she live?
She cut me off.
Aya: Huh? Sino?
Kai: Your friend Chole. Siya ang dahilan kaya antagal mong bumalik right? wala ka ring bitbit na tubig, how useless you are.
She said bitterly and I grimaced at every words she said. I know I should apologize for making her wait at shit nakalimutan ko yung bottled water namin but how did she know na nagkita kami ni Chole?
Aya: I- I'm sorry I made you wait pero wala ka pa ring karapatan insultuhin ako-
Kai: WHERE THE FVCK DOES SHE LIVED!
I froze hearing her shout and getting too angry at me. I gulped hard and squeeze my hands to try to stop myself from shaking.
Aya: Please let's just go home
I utter with my voice cracking. Why did her mood suddenly change? Kanina lang takot na takot siya sa rides and won't let go of my hand but now it's like she hates every piece of me.
Aya: Ga-galit ka ba cause I forced you to ride roller coaster and viking w-with me?
She was still tightly gripping the steering wheel and glanced at me with those murderous eyes then soften when she noticed that I'm about to cry and fidgeting my fingers hard.
She swirved on the left side of the road and parked at a dim light corner.
Kai: Hey
She softly touched my cheeks and caressed it with her thumb.
Kai: I'm not mad because you made me ride those shits but- mas masarap ba isubo corndog niya kaysa sa embutido ko Aya?
Aya: H-huh?
I was at lost on what she just said. Embutido niya? Naalog ba nang sobra ang ulo niya? Corndog? Omg is she mad cause she saw me eating with Chole??? Naiiyak lang ako kanina but now I can't stop myself from chuckling.
Kai: Why are you laughing?
She furrowed her thick eyebrows and she's just too cute with this confuse look of hers. She's still caressing my left cheek and found myself relaxing to her touch.
Aya: Tinakot mo pa ko. Nagseselos ka lang pala
She quickly removed her hand from my cheek and I already missed her touch.
