AYA'S POV

Shawn immediately opened the drive seat and I quickly went in then he followed afterwards.

Shawn: Alis na tayo?

I paused for a while contemplating but I end up nodding.

Aya: Yeah.... sa may Roxas Street banda yung samin pero kung di dun papunta sainyo then you can just drop me off kung san mas convenient for you.

I'm done putting my seat belt and smiled at him.

Shawn: It's okay, ihahatid kita all the way.

He turned on the engine and started backing the car.

Shawn: By the way, uhmmm pano yung kasama mo, okay lang bang sumabay ka sakin?

Actually it's NOT OKAY. I know she's fuming with rage right now. I honestly felt uncomfortable inside his car but I'm glad I have Kai's hoodie, somehow it made me warm and soothe my nerves a little. Her scent lingers on it and I slowly sniffed it. He started driving along the wet road.

Shawn: Just to be clear I'm not a pervy or what okay? haha

Aya: Then why... are you helping me?

He clicked his tongue and stopped on the traffic light then faced me.

Shawn: Para ka kasing basang tuta kanina haha ang cute and my gay ass is telling me to help you.

He just smiled while I furrowed my brows.

Aya: You're- you're gay???

The traffic light turn green and he focused his eyes on the road again.

Shawn: Bi to be exact but I prefer men more. I told you kanina na I can't get you out of my head, it's because I feel like we're... we're the same you know?

Aya: Huh?

Shawn: Napansin ko kasi before I approached you that you're in deep thoughts di mo nga namalayan na umuulan na. Me too have a very bad day... with my partner or maybe ex na

Shawn: Jowa mo ba yung red hair pogandang girl na yun?

Aya: N-no... she's my boss

Shawn: So she's single? I mean ang angas niya and the way she looks at me made me shivers jeez. Poganda pa, akin na lang siya. Pwede ba siyang ligawan?

Aya: Ano???!

He throw his head laughing after seeing my distraught face.

Shawn: Same talaga tayo. Same din ng type hahaha. Wait LQ ba kayo??

I slumped on my seat and looked out on rain dripping down the window.

Aya: We're- we're not in good terms... I mean may karapatan ba akong magalit eh di naman kami.... and I just learn a new info about her.... I hate her but then I feel bad about her. Ang dami niyang binibitbit na problema ng mag-isa... I hope she would let me in

I don't know why I'm sharing to a stranger like Shawn but the words just freely comes out in my mouth.

Shawn: Hmmm maybe she don't wanna bother you with her baggage and don't want you to get attached with her emotionally or deeply.

Shawn: You know people are afraid to be vulnerable with the person they like kasi what if that person won't like them anymore? and what if they would choose to stay?

Shawn: They don't know how to handle emotional range so they tend to do terrible stuff and pushed their lover away.

Shawn: I know it sounds cliche but it do happen though... I- I failed to understand him and decided to give up. He said I'm too bright for him... He chose to be with me  even though it burns him inside. He loves me but he can't loved his self. I didn't know he's suffering mentally not until he....
