Pratha's pov :

"Bus will leave, dear, you should be ready on time, right?" I said to Trisha while she played with her father. We were all waiting for the bus at the bus stop. Trisha's giggles filled the air, bringing a sense of joy to the moment.

"Garv, you've spoiled her," I said, with a hint of playful exasperation in my voice, knowing how much he doted on her. Garv simply smiled, scooped Trisha up in his arms, and a warm feeling of love enveloped us all. As the bus finally pulled up to the stop, a mix of excitement and anticipation filled the air. Trisha, always one to take her time, bid us a cheerful

"Bye, Mom, Dad," before boarding the bus. I settled into the car next to Garv, feeling a sense of contentment in our little family moments.

"Garv, stop the car here," I requested gently, knowing that he understood my unspoken need to ensure Trisha's punctuality. His understanding gaze met mine, a silent acknowledgment of our shared understanding and love for our daughter.

" Nope...jaan I know tumhe darr hai ki kahi main bhi late na ho jau," he said.

" samjhdaar hai aap.." I teased.

"It's all thanks to you, Jaan," he said softly, his words carrying a depth of gratitude and affection that made my heart swell with warmth.

Driving back home, the familiar sights of our neighborhood passed by, each holding memories of our shared experiences and moments of laughter. The sun began to set, casting a golden glow over everything, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange. In that serene moment, I felt a deep sense of gratitude for the love and happiness that filled our lives.

As we reached home, the familiar comfort of our surroundings welcomed us back. Trisha's toys scattered around the living room, a reminder of her playful spirit. Garv's hand found mine, a silent reassurance of his presence and support. In that simple gesture, I felt a rush of love and gratitude for the family we had created together. We both reached our room.

"Come on, you should head to your office now," I gently urged him. His sudden, impulsive gestures always managed to stir a mix of emotions within me. As he drew me closer by my waist, a rush of excitement tingled through my veins.

Placing my hands on his chest, I whispered, "Garv, someone might catch us in this moment."

With a reassuring tone, he replied, "This is our sanctuary, my jaan," inching closer to plant a tender kiss on my waiting lips. The softness of his touch enveloped me, sending a wave of warmth through my being. His hands delicately traced the contours of my waist, the fabric of my saree adding to the intimacy of the moment. Despite my attempts to resist the kiss, his mischievous nature made it a playful challenge. Eventually, I mustered the strength to gently break free from his grasp.

"You should make your way to the office now," I softly reminded him.

"I am departing for now, but jaan, rest assured that I will return tonight, ensuring there is no escape for you," he playfully teased, leaving me blushing at his words.

He went to his office, and I started cleaning my cupboard. Today, there is no one at home as everyone has gone to a funeral for our family friends. I am all alone at home. Lost in my thoughts, I suddenly came across a framed photo of me and Riya. Tears welled up in my eyes.

"9 saal kab ho gye, pta hi nhi chala. Idk why, but aaj bhi ye lagta hai jaise tum waapis aaogi," I whispered while sobbing.

"In aakhon ne sab dekha hai, but phir bhi ye dil hai ki maanta nhi," I said as I wiped away my tears. The memories flooded back, and the emptiness of the house echoed my loneliness. The photo captured a moment frozen in time, a reminder of a bond that time couldn't erase. The pain of missing you, Riya, feels as raw today as it did years ago. In these moments of solitude, my heart still yearns for your presence, hoping against hope for your return.

Garv's POV:
Meri jaan, you are like the melody in the song of my life, the color in the canvas of my days. Your presence brings a warmth that fills my heart with joy. Every moment spent with you feels like a treasure, a precious gem in the tapestry of my existence. Your smile is like a beacon of light guiding me through the darkest of times, and your laughter is the sweetest music to my ears.

Thinking of you brings a rush of emotions, a whirlwind of feelings that I can't help but embrace. Your love has become the very essence of my being, intertwining with my soul in a way that feels both magical and comforting. You are the missing piece of the puzzle that completes me, the one I never knew I was searching for.

In a world full of chaos and uncertainties, you are my constant, my anchor in the stormy sea of life. With you by my side, I feel invincible, ready to face any challenge that comes our way. Your love has transformed me, molding me into a better version of myself, and for that, I am eternally grateful. I used to be foolish, thinking that every girl is a cheater just because my friends' girlfriends cheated on them. But since falling for the girl I love, I have realized that a true girl can be a lifelong charm.

My jaan, Pratha, you are not just a part of my life; you are my life, my reason to smile, my source of strength. I cherish every moment we share every memory we create together. You are my soulmate, my partner in crime, and my forever love. I thank the stars every day for bringing you into my world, for blessing me with a love so pure and true.

I was busy thinking about her, and then I realized that " Garv ke bache office piche reh gya," I said to myself.
