An offer I can't refuse

I groaned and felt 2 arms on my waist. I opened my eyes and saw Mike one side of me and Brendon the other. Nicole sat up on the couch. She had the best bed hair. Dan was at the other end of the couch. I only knew that because his leg was hanging off the end. I waved at Nicole. She laughed and got up to order some coffee. Lots of coffee.
Brendon stirred, and he kissed my head.
"I love you, Robyn." He said so low that I thought I had misheard him. He opened his eyes and looked at me. "I do. I love you." I smiled at him.
"I love you too,B." I patted his hand.
"No," he cupped my cheek." I love you. I am in love with you. I have been since the day I met you." I slapped myself to make sure that I wasn't dreaming. Nicole used the ensuite. Dan was snoring. Mike was flat out. I had wanted Brendon to say these words for so long. But I had put those feelings away a long time ago. I had put them in a box and locked the box up tight. Being Brendons' best friend is better than nothing at all.
"Why are you telling me this now?" I asked him.
"It's about time I told you, Rob."
"I can't do anything with this, though l. You are engaged to Sarah." I was exasperated now. Nicole came out of the bathroom. Room service knocked at the door. Mike and Dan woke up. The moment was over. I was so confused. I needed Vic and Maya. I got off the bed and took a cup of coffee. I sat with it and went on my phone. I messaged my group chat with the girls. I explained what had just happened. I know Maya would be up. She would be about to go for a run. Which is exactly what I needed to clear my head and burn some of the alcohol off. So I went into my drawers and got my running gear out. I went into the bathroom and changed. I then grabbed my sneakers. I put them on and said I would be 20 minutes tops to everyone in my hotel suite. Brendon looked at me and then looked down. He looked sad.
As I left the suite, I put my headphones on and called Maya.
"What the fuck???" She said as soon as she answered.
"I know!!" I said.
"He actually said those words, I am in love with you?"
"Yep."
"Fuccckkkk." Vic was ringing to join the call. We spoke as both Maya and I did a morning run.
"What are you going to do?" Vic asked me.
"No clue." I also told them about what happened with Sarah and my suspicions,about her.
"What a bitch!" Vic said. "Rob, I can't believe you let her get away with speaking to you like that."
"To be honest Vic, I was that stunned, words escaped me."
I was walking back into the hotel now. I pressed for an elevator as my breath started to regulate itself. I was still sweaty though and in dire need of a shower.
"Are you working tonight, Vic?" I asked.
"Yea." Vic replied. I was going to ask her to join me. Maya had a date night with a girlfriend, Carona.
We chatted some more. I got out of the elevator, and I heard raised voices. They were coming from my suite.
"Rob, what's that?" Maya asked.
"Someone's arguing." I said as I got closer to my suite. The door was open, so I walked in, I had Vic and Maya still on the line.
Brendon had a bloody lip and a scratch on his cheek. Sarah stood in front of him.
"Oh, and here she is! I am gonna kill you!" She raged, coming towards me. Sarah tried to attack me, but I grabbed her arm and twisted it up her back.
"I don't think so, Sarah!" I said low into her ear. Vic and Maya were cheering.
"Get off me!" Sarah protested. I let go of Sarah, and she left the suite. Brendon was stood there. Nicole Mike and Dan were nowhere to be seen. I put my phone on loudspeaker. I then closed my door and made sure it was locked. I then got a first aid kit and cleaned Brendons wounds up as best as I could. I dabbed at his cut lip, and he hissed as I did it.
"Sorry, Bren." I said. I then cleaned his cheek up. Brendon cupped my cheek again and looked into my eyes.
"Thank you, Rob." He leant forward and lightly pecked my lips.
"Did you guys just kiss?" Vic said
"Omg, I died dead!" Maya said. We all burst out laughing.

The band had a sound check, and I decided to tag along and get some shots. I have some really good ones.
After sound check, we went to get some food . I was starving. Brendon and I went to get the food.
"So," I started,"How's the cuts?"
"Sore but better than they were." Brendon said, touching his cheek. I found some steri strips to put on it. I moved his hand and had a little look. I was so near to Brendons face. He closed his eyes as I was sure he could feel my breath on his face and neck. I saw him gulp.
"Looking good." I said, and we collected the orders and went back to the table.

The show was another success. I took lots of shots of the band. I managed to get Brendon mid flip, too. I also got a shot of all the hearts during Girls/Girls/Boys. It looked magnificent.
Sarah came this time. She scowled at me. I ignored her and did my job. I took lots of good shots, and I had to change memory cards as I took so many. I was on the stage but in the blackness. I took photos of Dan mid. Don't threaten me with a good time. I was so pleased with what I captured tonight.
I also got to see what the band sees when they perform.
I walked off the stage, smiling as I was so happy with what I had. We all went to the dressing rooms to chill and hang out a little bit. Brendon followed all of us into the one Mike and Dan shared. Sarah was pissed when he did that. She was about to grab his wrist and humiliate Brendon in front of everyone again when I intervened and showed him some of the shots I had taken.
"Omg, Rob, these are fantastic!"
"Show us, Rob!" Everyone crowded around. Sarah was pushed out.

I woke up and had a shower. I had a flight to catch. I was wrapped in a towel when there was a knock at my door. I opened it, and there stood Brendon.
"Hey B. I am just about to get ready." Brendon sat on the couch and nodded as I got my outfit, a red playsuit. I went back into the bathroom and got dressed. I blow dried my hair and put it into a ponytail. Room service arrived as I left the bathroom. I ordered for both of us. We drank coffee and ate pastries.
"Robyn, I submitted all the photos you have taken over the past 2 shows. Fueled by Ramen are amazed by them. They want to offer you the job again. They said that they would help with the business. Get someone to run it, and they have doubled the offer of salary. Oh, and they said they can send someone to assist Eddie, too."
"Ok."
