No response.
Are you serious?
He tossed his phone across his mattress.
Sunday, October 4, 2020Standing outside the faded brown brick facade, with his leg against the wall, Elliot checked his phone again. 12:30. What was Azure even doing?
He said to meet up at noon.
Annoyance bubbled up again as he recalled last night. Checking his phone once again, he confirmed Azure read his text but didn't respond.
Why ask to meet up if you're going to be late anyway?

He began typing, his fingers on fire: "Hey asshole I waited here for a whole hour even when I decided to meet up with you last minute but you still had the nerve to stand me up. How about you go fuck yourself?"
His phone read:
–
Elliot: I left because I have some other things going on. We'll discuss this at school tomorrow.
–
He sighed, "I should've known better."
At least I have a shift at Timeless after this so I didn't go out for nothing.
Just as he was leaving, he remembered his old afternoon runs. Maybe I should exercise more...
