"Listen, I've got a proposition for you," Azure's firm voice flew across the soft wind of the graveyard, "something mutually beneficial."
Elliot stepped back slightly, "I doubt that."
Azure stepped closer and the street light flickered; he the...
He turned off his phone and began his night routine, maybe he should go to the basketball game on Friday.
I'll have to ask Mr. Miller if I can get someone to cover my shift. ...Would Kaden be surprised to see me?
Lying on his bed, he was slightly restless.
He read over the texts again and he couldn't help but smile. He laid his phone on his chest, he had something to look forward to.

Elliot woke up the next morning, he washed his face, and then dried it.
He looked at his hair in the mirror, and smiled a bit, he wasn't sure why but he loved the colder months.
Something about them was peaceful, he supposed.
He did his morning routine, then went to school. Nothing happened except getting a 100% on his history paper. His life wasn't that bad. The only thing that was a problem right now was the one placement test score, and he was sorting that out with Azure. He was fine.
When lunch rolled by Elliot, Emilia, and Chris sat together again.
"I'm going to go to the basketball game this Friday," Elliot announced, Chris and Emilia opened their mouths in shock.
"Really? You can go?" Emilia asked.
"Of course, I told you Elliot's going to cheer me on," Chris chuckled and leaned against Elliot, wrapping his arm around him.
"Yeah sure," Emilia grinned and rolled her eyes. "Westview's actually pretty good so make sure to try."
"And after I win this game we should celebrate my victory at the fall fest."
"Alright," she shrugged.
"So we're skipping over the fact Chris assumed he's going to win?" Elliot laughed.
"What can I say? Central Haven might win League this year too."
"I don't get how people are good at sports," Elliot rolled his eyes.
"You just get good, I guess."
"Thanks for the useful explanation, I guess," he retorted.
"You're welcome, I guess," Chris annoyingly raised his eyebrows with a smirk, taking one of Elliot's rice balls while he was at it.
Emilia smiled, "Well the game starts at 5 in Central Haven's main gym. Elliot, I'll send you the rest of details later. Maybe we should get something to eat after too."
"We should get fried chicken," Chris grinned.
"Thanks for the suggestion," Emilia raised an eyebrow with a slightly amused look.
