Aaliyah was in her last class of the day when one of Jalil's friends popped up in the window looking around for someone scared. He laid eyed on the girl and signaled her to go.
quickly and quietly Aaliyah got out her seat, confused what his friend needed. She bit her lip as she tried to open the door without it creaking.
She succeeded and closed the door quietly behind her "Aaliyah, Jalil bro" he looked worried, it scared the girl.. was her boyfriend okay?
As she followed him down the halls, her heart pounded as she desperately tried to ignore the tightening of her chest as she placed a hand over her rapidly increasing heart rate. She was thinking the worst, the worst being that he could be dead... god forbid.
Aaliyahs breathing became rapid, she couldn't focus on herself, she was thinking what might be wrong with Jalil that she has to be pulled out of class by his friend whom seemed worried.
He walked in a room holding the door for her and when she did, she saw people who were friends with him each holding roses.
She was confused, she looked around thinking she might've interrupted something. "You gotta walk down and grab all the flowers" one of them said.
She walk down all 15 people meaning she was holding 15 roses. At the end there was nothing, she turned around facing everyone confused as ever since they were recording with flashlights and all.
She felt a tap behind her, she quickly turned and saw Jalil holding a bouquet of roses with 20 dollars bills surrounding it on his left hand and a big poster saying
'TRUST ME IM NOT INTO WASTING TIME SO I WANT TO TALK 2 YOU AND ASK, WILL YOU BE ALL MINE AT PROM?'
Aaliyah smiled, she felt like a child. He was smiling too knowing the girl likes listening to Brent Faiyaz as did he.
"of course" she nodded, Everyone began cheering as he placed the stuff down and bringing her close for a kiss.
