One week till prom, two weeks till graduation, and barely a month till Aaliyah is off to college. Everything is going so fast for the girl, as if every day that goes by is only a minute long.
Before she was excited to leave home and start being independent but the reality of leaving her home has just started sinking in. Her room was filled with boxes half way filled, luggages filled with clothes upon clothes, and the walls with canvases and posters was now just bare. Her room felt unfamiliar, as if she'd never been there before.
The girl's emotions was all over the place, she was scared, excited, overwhelmed, sad, etc.
Currently, the girl was out at the mall with her mother buying a new wardrobe, and things to help make her dorm more homely since she'll be leaving in less than a month.
Jalil was in the gym nearby since he offered to be their chauffeur for the day as long as they brought him something.
She entered H & M and began looking at the cropped tops and shorts since it's only ever hot in miami. "are you excited for college?" Camila asked as she looked through the blouses "yes, just a bit scared to leave you" Aaliyah pouted "don't be baby, we'll visit all the time, and you'll visit when you can. Plus, you'll be with Jalil so there's nothing to be afraid of" Her mother reassured, Aaliyah slowly nodded
She brought some outfits and paid a total of 154.67 before leaving with more bags than before.
"you hungry ma?" Aaliyah asked, seeing the food court and wanting auntie annes. "not really but you go ahead, im going to Macy's real quick" she shooed her daughter away as she began walking to the end of the mall where Macy's was located.
The girl walked to auntie annes and got cinnamon bites and mini hotdogs knowing her mom sould ask for some at some point.
She decided on taking a break on walking and sat on a table as she ate slowly. Aaliyah scrolled through instagram, mindless of her surroundings. She heard someone say yo and looked up seeing a group of 5 boys walking towards her.
