We're here at the casino right now because Travis has a business meeting here. I insisted on coming along because I was getting bored at home. Travis couldn't do anything when I told him that I would leave him if he didn't take me.

"Just promise me one thing." Sambit ni travis.

"What?" irita tanong ko sakan'ya habang nakakunot ang noo.

"Don't cause any trouble." He spoke then hold my hand and led me to the table where 5 men in their 40s wearing black suits were seated.

"Oh, here is our young business partner." A man sitting down said to him, appearing to be around 40 years old with a beard, wearing a black suit, but noticeable was his less than attractive physique.

"Shut your mouth Emmanuel, I am not your business partner." Travis said rudely.

I rolled my eyes.

Nakita ko kumuyom ang kamao ni Emmanuel na halata nainis sa inasal ni Travis, tumayo ito sa pagkakaupo at akma sasapakin na niya si travis ng may pumagitna sakanila.

"Relax, Emmanuel. Aren't you used to Travis yet? That's just his personality." He said, and then gestured for him to sit down.

"He's Lucky because you're here, Jacob" He said and then sat down.

"No, you're lucky because Jacob is here." Travis suddenly intervened.

"What did you say!?" Emmanuel yelled in anger.

I stood in front of Travis and smiled.

"I'm apologizing for Travis's actions" I said them.

Nahinto silang lahat at ang atensyon nila ay napunta saakin.

Emmanuel calmed down and turned to me, "And who is this lovely young lady?" he asked then smiled at me.

Out of nowhere, Travis pulled me behind him, causing me to be surprised. "The woman you're talking to is mine". he declared.

Then he dragged me away in front of them, I felt Travis' anger and annoyance. I looked at him and saw his furrowed eyebrow as he pulled me farther away from them.

"Why did you do that?" he asked me with annoyance.

"Anong gusto mong gawin ko? tumayo lang at hayaan kang sapakin ng lalaki 'yon" I said and pointed to the table where they were.

"Yes, Ava, that's what you should have done!" He shouted angrily.

"Don't raise your voice at me Travis." I uttered seriously and glared at him.

His face calmed down and the furrow on his eyebrow disappeared, indicating that he realized I was mad.

"I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean to shout at you, I just don't like it when other men look at you like that." He said in a calm voice and then took my hand and kissed it.

"Just don't do it again." I assertively said to him.

"Yes, I promise baby" He said in a gentle voice.

"You told me not to cause any trouble, but why are you being disrespectful when talking to them?" I said in confusion.

"Just to clarify, I only have an issue with Emmanuel, I don't like that asshole and I wasn't aware that he was also here." He explained.
