ADVENTURES AWAIT [SEASON 2]

S2: EPISODE 10;; Restless nights.

Inside of the cottage, you were sitting downstars in a hammock that they had inside. The candles that lit the living room comforted you. You couldnt sleep. It was in the middle of the night, as it was raining aswell. You were listening to music, your favorite song that comforted you. You didnt know that many songs, obviously, but yet you found comfort. The others had alresdy gone to sleep. Some slept upstairs, some slept downstairs, thats why you kept quiet.

Pausing suddenly, you turned off your music and went to put off the candles. Walking up, you blew them out, before going outside in the rain. To just take a stroll, a calming one. before going outside, you placed your phone and earbuds/headphones onto the table. You closed the door and started walking down the trail that lead to the forest, and down to another trail. The others said they used to go on this trail together, and gave you a little map to it too. Walking through the dark forest, you could only feel a sense of dread creep up on you. The atmosphere feeling eerie and unsettling. But you calmed yourself down easily. Few minutes after going down the trail, you end up in an opening.

Looking around, you saw no one. Just you. Feeling comfortable again, you stepped out, taking slow steps, while looking around. The trail was long, so this was gonna be long, but i could always turn around and walk back. Walking down the trail, you couldnt notice someone behind you, slowly sneaking. But before they attacked, you felt their presence, and turned around. But as they noticed they tried pouncing on you, to which you dodged immediately. Falling on the ground, you turn to look at whoever tried attakcing you. A weird papercraft that looked like..a cat? You stood up and went over to them. "Hey! Are you okay?" You asked them, offering a hand. As they looking up at you, they hissed., giving off an aggressive vibe. Nonetheless, you grabbed their hand and got them off the ground, catching them off gaurd causing them to yelp a little. "I asked, are you alright?" You asked them, hokding their hand firmly.

They looked at you, a bit uneased but calmed down. "Yes. I am fine, now let go!" They said, in a feminine voice, yanking her hand away. "Jeez okay! What are you doing out here anyways?" You ask, seemingly worried. "Eehh.." She trailed off, getting nervous. "Uugh, I was trying to attack someone to..uh, play with?" "I can play with you", you immediately replied, as her eyes lit up. "Really!!" "Yeah, just- Whats your name?" "My name is Crafty. Yours?" "O/N!" "Thats a nice name. Tag! Youre it!" She randomly blurted out, tapping you on the shoulder before running off. Catching you fof guard, you giggled and started running after her.

This went on for a while, game after game, you eventually grew tired, yet Crafty was still full of energy. Before a male-ish voice came out of nowhere. "Craftyy!! Where are you? Bubble Blower is getting worried of where you are!" Someone yelled. This made Crafty look over and pout a little. She turned to you. "Hey i have to go. Ill see if we meet again, okay?" She smiled. "Yeah! Of course." "Here!" She walked up to you and put a bracelet on you, winking at you. Then, she ran off, giggling loudly. Looking at the bracelet, it had her name on it. A bracelet with pearls. You smiled a little, before deciding to go back to the cottage. Bskc on the trail, back to the forest.

The uneasy feeling came back, eating away at you more faster, and quicker. You got a little uncomfortable but it would go away. Yet, judt then you could only hear faint footsteps. Stopping, you could hear them grow closer. Before you knew it, you were tackled to the ground. And uou fell, you could feel your back get hurt, and your arm was under your body, causing it to get squished as you heard a little crack. You whined loudly, before looking over to the person. You quickly kicked them away, seeing them fall to the ground too.

"O/N! Please wait! I havent even-" They began, "I dont know you! How do you know my name?!" "Thats what i was gonna explain. Just- Calm down!" They said, but yoy were already up, as you quickly ran. "O/N!!!!!!!" They yelled before getting up and running after you. Your pace grew faster, before finally getting to the cottage. That person was far behind, and you managed to get to the cottage. Carefully going inside, you decreased your pace, locking the door. You went to the hammock and laid on it. Yes, you slept on the hammock. They didnt have any other beds for you. But, as you laid, you heard their knocks.
Ignore them, thats the best way.
Ignore..

You couldnt fall asleep to those damn knocks, but its alright. Itll stop.

It stopped,

But with a scream, and not silence.

Hey guys um sorry for not posting in the middle of the month, i kept forgetting and when i didnt, i was so caught up with a game i completely forgot. But hey i got all the chapters done, might feel a little short but its because i didnt have any ideas. But i do have some for the future chapters.

I intend to add more characters to this story, OCs, or random obejcts or object show characters, you guys can genuinely request ideas, im out of them. Please and thank you!! not forcing btw!
