Asiya and her sisters, Ya Farha and Ya Mariya, helped their parents with the final preparations for their Umrah trip. The house buzzed with activity, filled with a sense of anticipation and excitement. All three of them were in Mama's room as she got ready for the airport.

“Take care of each other,” Mama said, her eyes misty. “We’ll be back before you know it.”

"Mama, this feels like the 100th time dazaku Umrah fa. Mude mun riga mun saba. Allah ya karba ibada," Asiya said, hugging her mom tightly.

"Auta, wannan ne first time dazan tafi nabarki ba gida ba," Mama replied, her worry evident.

"Gidansu Ameera ne fa, Mama. Nayi kwana yafi 1000 a gidan so don't worry. Autanki is in safe hands, and I'm going to have lots of fun while you are away," Asiya reassured, trying to comfort her mom.

"You heard her, so karku damu. And we will be checking up on her regularly tunda ita kadai aka damu za'a tafi abari," Ya Mariya said in a teasing tone.

"Ku ai kuna gidajenku," Mama replied with a sigh.

"Ai auta da alama da kyarr za'a gama jami'a ba'ayi aure ba," Ya Mariya teased Asiya.

"Ni wallahi maganar nan ade sake considering inya tsere mata shekara daya fa this makes no sense wallahi. Ga responsible mutun nasonta ta tsaya shirme," Ya Farha added, her tone serious.

"Enough of this, Ya Farha. Nace banason Muhsin, what do you want, please? It's not like akwai hadisin dayace I can't marry my age mate or we cannot marry before 20. And besides, se munje level 3 zamuyi aure. We'll be 21-22 by then. Dan secondary school love inki failed doesn't mean mine will also. I love Ibrahim," Asiya retorted, all worked up.

"Okay, that's enough. Ke Farha, if our parents are in support of this, kibarshi mana. Allah yasa shine Akairi. Ku ko ina se kunyi halin," Ya Mariya said, trying to stop the heat between the two.

"Wallahi soyayya ta budewa diyarki ido, Mama," Ya Mariya said to Mama, who was still shocked by Asiya’s reaction.

"Karna sake jin kinwa yayarki rashin kunya, kinjini? Ke kuma, dan Allah, ki aje maganar tunda har babanku yaga yaron kuma yace ya yabada hankalinsa. Kibari ai matar mutun kabarinsa, kuma wani baya auran matar wani," Mama admonished.

Ya Farha didn't say anything; she was clearly upset by Asiya's reaction.

Asiya, dressed in an elegant Hausa attire, hugged her parents, feeling a mix of emotions. Her outfit was a stunning deep blue Ankara gown, adorned with intricate gold embroidery that shimmered in the sunlight. The matching headscarf was wrapped elegantly around her head, framing her face beautifully. She wore delicate gold earrings and a matching necklace, completing the traditional look. Asiya’s radiant smile and the way the dress complemented her complexion made her look even more beautiful.

They all piled into the car, heading to the airport. The journey was filled with light chatter, memories of past family trips, and the excitement of the upcoming lesser pilgrimage. Once they arrived, they helped their parents with their luggage, ensuring everything was in order.

Mama and Baba turned to their daughters before going through security. “Take care, my dears,” Baba said, his voice filled with warmth. “We’ll pray for all of you.”

“We’ll miss you,” Asiya said, her voice choked with emotion. “Allah ya tsare Have a safe journey.”

After saying their goodbyes, Ya Farha and Ya Mariya drove Asiya to her Uncle Usman’s house. Ya Farha was not as upset as she was earlier, but she had not fully bounced back. They chatted about their parents' trip and what Asiya could expect during her stay.
