"Oya, come here so I can finish dressing your wounds since you've confirmed that I'm not going anywhere," Ibrahim said, smiling warmly.

Asiya moved closer, and Ibrahim gently lifted her hospital gown. It was then that he saw not only the injury from the beating Muhsin had given her the previous day but also numerous bruises and scars on her back.

"Sia'm, please forgive me. If we had run away, there would have been no way that scoundrel could have touched you and given you those beatings," he said, feeling a deep ache in his heart as he looked at the bruises on her body.

"Uhmn Aşkım, I'm fine, don't worry about it, please. Everything is in the past, okay?" she replied, trying to soothe him.

"Okay," he said softly as he finished dressing her wounds. He put her gown back in place and set the dressing materials aside.

Then he said, "Come, let's see this hair you quickly tied up. I see your hair has grown longer." He carefully removed the scarf she had tied her hair with, and the messy bun she hurriedly done earlier unraveled, her hair cascading down to the middle of her back.

"Oh my! I love your long curls, baby. Everything about you is beautiful," he said, lifting her hair and kissing the back of her neck.

"Aşkimmm, we're in the hospital. What if someone walks in?" she said playfully, her cheeks flushing.

"Oh God, I missed your playful side. You know I have to make up for five years of not having you around," Ibrahim replied with a playful grin.

Asiya rolled her eyes and said, "Like being playful is a good thing," trying hard to fight the sleep that was overtaking her. She had been given a sedative but didn't want to sleep for fear of waking up and finding everything a dream. Ibrahim noticed her struggle. "I'm feeling sleepy," he said, yawning exaggeratedly.

Asiya didn't want him to leave, To her surprise, he took off his shoes and climbed onto the bed with her. She couldn't lie on her back because of the pain, so he carefully positioned her on his chest. "Let's sleep. I haven't slept a wink in  days. Tonight, I will have you sleep to the sound of my heartbeat kiji how fast it beats for you. One of my biggest dreams is coming true," he said, feeling a deep love for her.

At that moment, his phone started ringing. He answered, "Yes, she's at Cedar Crest. No, Please come later; the doctor said he needs to run some tests. Okay, thanks, love. See you then."

Asiya's heart pounded hard. Is he married?with all that has been going She didn't even ask, and she had avoided letting Kay or Ruks tell her anything about him. Her heart raced. "What were you expecting?" she thought to herself. "You got married, and he didn't. Maybe he hasn't married, but he has someone he intends to marry." She knew Ibrahim well enough to know he didn't habitually call friends 'love.' The anxiety made her uncomfortable, and sleep fled. She sat up, her body trembling.

"Why did you get up? What's wrong? Why are you shaking?" he asked, concerned.

"Nothing. I need to fix myself before your guest arrives," she said, trying to control the tears gathering in her eyes.

"Sia'm, what's the matter? What happened?" Ibrahim's worry intensified as he looked at her.

"Nothing, I just want to get ready before your 'love' arrives," Asiya said, tears finally spilling over.

Ibrahim, remembering the day they met Hajara at the park, smiled. "Oh, it's nothing of the sort. She's my father's youngest sisters. Same mother, same father."

Asiya felt a wave of relief and embarrassment wash over her, but you could see that she felt better deep inside. "Come, let's sleep, oh myjealous one. I have no one but you. You are the only one who has ever been here," Ibrahim said, pointing at his heart and gently placing her head back on his chest. "You are the only one I have ever loved. You are the only one I love."
