"A Princess on Lothal"

A white Loth-cat watches Kanan Jarrus talk with Hera Syndulla via hologram about the three Bridger kids. "How are they taking it?" Hera asked worried about the three siblings she saw as her children. "Not so great. It's not exactly the news they wanted to hear." Kanan responded with a sigh. Nick, Kayla and Ezra, learned that their parents Ephraim and Mira had died, they were heavy with grief. On a positive note the rebels had been able to find a new ally in the form of Ryder Azadi, the former Governor of Lothal. Hera informs Kanan that Senator Bail Organa has heard about Phoenix Cell's recent losses on Garel. "He's sending an agent to deliver more ships." She explains.

Above the planet Lothal, three unidentified cruisers drop out of hyperspace and are intercepted by a light cruiser. Imperial Lieutenant Yogar Lyste demands to know the identities and purpose of the cruisers, due to rebel activity on Lothal forcing a planetary lockdown. The cruisers respond "We are delivering relief aid to the people of Lothal."Their landing permit comes through. "Permit is coming through now sir. They're from Alderaanian" Lyste is irritated. "Yet another meddling delegation from Alderaan." He gives them instructions to land at the Jalath City depot for processing. The leader of the Alderaanian delegation, stepped into the light. "This is Princess Leia Organa, I thank you and will speak again when we land." After the Imperial officer signs off, she states that "There's no turning back now."

Back at Ryder Azadi's hideout, Kanan tells the twins and Kayla about the rendezvous. "Won't they recognize us?" Nick questions. "Maybe dressed like this," kanan replies, moithinon to his attire, "but nobody's going to notice a couple extra stormtroopers, catedts and mechanics around." He proceeds to toss the twins cadet helmets, and Kayla a newsboy cap. Kayla asks Ryder, "Why don't you come with us?" He refuses, stating that "I don't want to be involved in rebel activity. I don't want to be captured and thrown in prison again." Ryder does, however, let Kanan the brigers take his speeder bike. When Kanan, Kayla and the twins, disguised as a stormtrooper, mechanic and an Imperial cadets respectively, arrive at the garrison, the Hammerhead corvettes are just landing. "Those are our reinforcements? Some old transports?" Kayla sends them a glare and hits him in the upper side of his head. "Ow! What'd you do that for?" He complains. "We take what we can get." She snaps. They run to one of the ships. Leia disembarks from it. Ezra asks "Excuse me miss, uh where's your commander?" Kayla elbows him in the ribs. "She could very well be the commander." She defends. Leia smiled at the girl. "Not much of a welcoming committee," she observed. She turned to address Kanan. "Trooper." Kanan and the twins remove their helmets and introduce themselves, "Hey I'm Kanan, this is Ezra, that's Nick." He says, knowing Kayla wanted to introduce herself. "Oh uh, I'm Kayla! It's an honor to meet you princess." She says putting out a hand to shake. Leia shakes it back. Leia tells them "Oh I know who you are, and unless you want the deck officer to know too, I suggest you put your helmets back on and keep their mouths shut." The twins are shocked and a bit offended. "Excuse me?" They question in unison. Kayla, who'd already put her braids under her newsboy hat, stated with a smile, "Oh. Oh I like her." Kanan with his own helmet on tells them. "Hey you heard her; Shut it." To which the two groan and do as told. The deck officer tells Leia he has to scan her ships for contraband, and after he leaves Kanan tells Leia " Things are off to a great start." Leia replies, "Things are going perfectly. Where is the rest of your team?" When Kanan tells her that "They'll be here." Leia tells them that "When they are, the rebels can steal my ships." The four rebels are surprised.

Seeing Lyste's shuttle landing, Leia tells them that "I have to deal with the Lieutenant now. Follow my lead." Ezra starts complaint "She gets to give orders?" Nick finishes with "We don't get to give orders!" Kayla stood on a crate, a bit taller than her brothers. She rolled her eyes at them complaining about not giving orders. "You two ever listen to yourselves?" She said hopping down from her perch. "Yeah we do." Nick started. "And we happen to be very interesting." Ezra finished. "Are they always like this?" Leia asked. "Sometimes. I'm kinda used to it." She replied. Lyste tells Leia that he is aware that Alderaanian ships have a tendency to be "stolen" by rebels, and reassures her that he will make sure that doesn't happen this time. Several stormtroopers begin attaching devices to the fronts of Leia's ships, and the princess states "Gravity locks are hardly necessary." Lyste insists, adding that he has stationed an extra detachment of stormtroopers around the area. A Gozanti-class cruiser flies in and deposits two All Terrain Armored Transports, as the final piece of Lyste's extra security. Leia assures "Lieutenant, all of this is unnecessary." But he insists on doing so. Thinking on her feet the older girl devised a plan, "Since my ships are grounded, I'll be needing your shuttle to begin my relief work." Ordering the disguised Kanan and Brigers along. "You four, come with me." They immediately obey. "Yes princess!" Kayla grabs a crate as do the others.
On the landing craft, Leia states "I wasn't expecting this much security, how the rebels will be able to "steal" the ships now?" Kanan tells her "It's not your fault the plan failed." She explains that it is, because she came up with the plan. Ezra asks "Why can't the cruisers just handed off to the rebels in deep space?" and Leia tells him that "If the Empire could prove Alderaan was supporting the rebels, we would be charged with treason and lose our seat in the Imperial Senate. But if the ships are stolen on a planet controlled by the Empire," Kanan catches on "Alderaan would be blameless. Have to admit that's a pretty good plan." Leia crosses her arms. "Well now we need a new one." Just then, they receive a distress call from Chopper. Kayla answers on her wrist com. "Yeah? Go ahead chop." The droid grumbles on the other end. "Stormtroopers?" Her brothers question. Returning to Ryder's hideout, they find a group of stormtroopers arresting Ryder and Chopper. Landing, Leia asked, "Friends of yours?" Kanan remarks "They won't be for much longer. This time, you follow my lead." He walks towards the Comander. "Halt. State your bissnuess." Disguised as a stormtrooper, Kanan tells the commander "I'm taking the princess ambassador here on a scouting trip for possible refugee relocation sites." The commander states that "This area is unsafe due to a high level of rebel activity." Kanan offers to take the prisoners back to base and the commander refuses, stating that "We have orders to execute one of them immediately." Leia intervenes, "Hold on trooper, as a representative of the Imperial Senate, I demand to know what this man has done to merit execution."The commander states, "This one escaped from an Imperial prison, and I again advise you to leave because where you find one rebel, there are usually more." Chopper suddenly starts spinning around wildly, chirping wildly. "Chopper's getting a signal." Kanan observes. The twin respond in unison. "You know what that means." Kayla starts bouncing on her feet. "Hera's here!" She chirps.
