Siblings reunited

"PUT ME DOWN!" the figure screeched, pounding their fists against Kanan's back. Their face covered by a brown cloak. black boots kicked his chest trying to break free. A simple blaster hung at their side along with two hilts. Their strength wasn't enough. Kanan plopped them down on the ground.

He, Jun, and Ash formed a circle around them. They bounced on their feet ready to bolt. "Who are you?" Ash questioned. "Ace." they spat. Jun caught a glimpse of silver irises. "What's your real name?" Kanan asked, a firm tone to his voice. "That's classified, how do I know you're not gonna rat me out to the empire?" they fired back. Kanan stepped forward, causing the figure to bolt.

Ash force-pushed them back, causing their hood to fall off. "We will ask again; Who are you?" Jun demanded. The figure's silver irises looked up at them with a defiant glare. their bronze skin was covered in scars. a sprinkle of freckles ran across their nose. Dark blonde hair fell in between their eyes, and was ruffled up. her reddish brown leather jacket hid the sleeves of their sky blue top. Black pants were pushed into brown boots, reaching Their knees. Their belt had a blaster holster on the left side. Fingerless gloves had a cutout in the back. Their face had a slight scar on the right, but a line across the left eye ending in an x.

A simple necklace fell out of their top. It had a silver chain around a purple crystal. Ash saw it and got aggressive. When the person stood up he slammed them into the wall. "Where did you get that?" He demanded holding the lapel of their jacket. "My brothers.... Young girl." They shuddered out. The sun caught the crystal allowing Jun to see the inscription . 'Loving you always even if we're apart.'

A rush of memories came back. Only one person had a crystal that said those words; Vella. No, no, she died in the purge, it couldn't be her. Jun muttered a name that he hadn't heard in years. "Troop?" The figure's eyes went wide. "C-captain?" Ash dropped her in shock. Kanan loosened at the name. Jun only called one person 'troop'; Vella Zachnee, their sister.

The girl suddenly tackled him to the ground causing the commander to smile. The two had tears in their eyes. "I thought I would never see you again." She said softly. "I guess the force put us together for a reason." He said, keeping his arms around her figure.

The original phoenix squadron was whole once more.
