"Yesterday you told me you wanted to talk about something over the phone. What is it?" Aarohi asked.

The speech I had practiced went down the drain; my brain went blank. Was it so hard to confess your feelings? I had done it years ago, can't I do it now?

"What is your take on marriage?"

Aarohi took a few moments before she took a few sips of the cold drink sitting beside her phone and said, "It's something most of the society does and I do want to get married if that is the answer you were looking for. Anyways. I'm so happy for Bhai and Anisha."

"Me too! By the way, marriage isn't the topic I wanted it to discuss. I wanted to confess something—"

"Did you cheat on me?"

"What? You're doubting me?" I peered at her. Her lips twisted and she burst out laughing.

"I was pulling your leg. And if you did cheat on me, I'd leave you. My self respect comes first." Her laughter subsided and she turned serious.

"I agree. Cheating is disrespectful and disgusting."

"I'm glad you agree because I know many people don't. They excuse cheating."

"Please continue what you were saying."

I took a deep breath and said, "I love you, Aarohi!"

Her expression changes from shock, to tears brimming her eyes, to giggles.

Silence.

"Bolo bhi kuch. Do you feel the same. Agar nahi to we can part ways." It pained me to separate from her but she also had a choice.

"Part ways, huh. Well mister you can't part ways with me because I feel the same. And he socha bhi na, toh anjaam bura hoga."

"Kya karoge?" Curiosity got the best of me.

"I'll convince you. And if you don't agree then we'll part ways."

I thought she would say something sarcastic. And I told my thoughts.

"Well things like tying someone up or convincing them is something people go through and joking about it would be disrespectful imo."

"Yeah."

The server brought over the meal. We both thanked him and started eating.

"Will you be able to attend all of the wedding functions?" She asked.

"I'm not sure but I don't want to miss any."

"Same."

After we were done we both sat in the car. And next thing you know. Our mouths pressed against each other. I pushed the car seat back and held her waist, nipping her upper lip.

We pulled apart, and hugged.

"I love you!" I said, kissing her crown.

"I love you too," she kissed my cheeks.

We both stayed in each other arms silently. I could hear her heartbeat.

"When did you realize you felt something for me?" I asked her.

"I don't know? Maybe our daily takes. The way you take care of me? When did you start?"

"I don't know when i started but I realized tge day you and Kairav came to meet anisha and the others at the cafe."

"Thats why you were staring at me?"

"Was I? I didn't realize."

"Your face is dry," she said out of nowhere.

"Yeah. I forgot to put on cream today."

"I have a moisturizer." She carefully got out of my lap and sat in the passenger seat, grabbed her bag, went through it to find a mini moisturizer.

"Here you go." She handed it to me. I sanitized my hands and moisturizer my face.

She put her moisturizer in her bag and I drove us to our apartment complex.

A/N;

I know this chapter is short but I've been busy with work. And barely get time to write.
