He likes her sister.
She has a crush on him.
What will happen, when a Rishta meant for her sister is sent to her? How will he react? How will the family react? What's their story?
I butchered up big time. So, according to the main characters' careers and where they are in life, Abhimanyu and Aarohi have an age gap.
Since Abhimanyu is a cardiologist, he would have to study for 10 or so years and then he could be a cardiologist. So his age would be 27 or 28.
And Aarohi is doing her internship after completing her MBBS, which takes four and a half years, so her age would be around 22 or so.
I don't live in India, so, I'm not sure how the entrance exams work. But we can add a few years to their age to ensure that their age isn't unrealistic. Therefore Abhimanyu's age is probably 30 and Aaru's age is 23. I will write this story, keeping this in mind.
I initially thought they probably had a 2 year age gap. But since they have a 7 years age gap, I'll have to tweak the plot accordingly.

"Beta, all the best." Taya ji wished me. I bit my lower lip. I've been doing surgeries under supervision and this is my first solo one.
What if I mess up?
I reminded myself, that I'd been training for years and nothing bad would happen.
I changed into scrubs and went to the ER. My patient was given anesthesia and a breathing tube was placed into his windpipe. I was performing a CABG surgery.
I put on the gloves and a surgical mask. In no time the surgery began. Some interns were also helping me with the surgery.
After five critical hours, the surgery was over. I thank the people who helped me perform the surgery. Then I ask the nurse if the patient is okay. The minute I was assured the patient was in safe hands, I washed my hands and updated the patient's loved ones.
I went to my office and wrote notes on the aftercare and explained them to the nurse in charge. I went to the washroom and changed into a shirt and light-washed jeans. I came out and sprawled on my office chair.
. . .
Grr. Embarrassment washed over me. I looked around my office to see if anyone was there. When I was assured, I got up from my chair to go to the cafeteria to get something.
As I was striding. I bumped into someone. Agh, here I am famished and people aren't letting me live peacefully. I turned to the person and opened my mouth to confront them, but nothing came out. I was awestruck by the beautiful lady.
Her black locks that framed her hair, her pinkish lips, her doe eyes, and her thick eyelashes kissing her cheeks, all attracted me to her. She was wearing a navy blue kurta with matching palazzo. She lifts the straps of her sling bag that were falling off her shoulder and places it back.
"I'm sorry," I heard those words come out.
"It's okay." I extend my hand and introduce myself, "Hi! I'm Dr. Abhimanyu Birla."
She smiles warmly. That smile. "Hello to you too! I'm Akshara Goenka," her hands meet mine.
What a beautiful name.
"If you don't mind me asking, what are you doing here?" I asked her, I wanted to know her.
"I came here to interview as a music therapist and my sister works at the hospital as well. So, I was going to meet her. She's actually an intern here."
"Oh, what's her name?" I asked, wanting to prolong our conversation.
"Aarohi Goenka." She replied, her hands fidgeting. Was I intimidating?
Aarohi was under my supervision in one of the timeframes. She is determined to become a pediatrician and is an amazing person from how much I know her.
"She is an amazing doctor." I told her, Akshara's eyes sparkled and she grinned, "Meri behen hai he aise." The way she was speaking about her showed how deep their bond was. (My sister is like this.)
"The interns are in the cafeteria, she's probably there, come, I'll take you, I was heading to the cafeteria anyway," I told her and she nodded. We both sauntered to the cafeteria.

"Tu itne sure kaise ho sakti hai? Woh aur kisse ko bhi date kar sakti hai." I said to my friend Paravi.
(How can you be this sure? She can date someone else as well.)
She sneakingly grabbed a few bites of the Reese's cups I was munching on. "I saw her with him, yesterday. They were looking like a couple."
I slapped her hand and said, "Agar teri baath sach nikle toh main tujhe soh rupey degi. Agar nahi you tu mujhe degi. Laagi shart."
(If what you said turns out to be true then I'll give you a hundred rupees. If not then you'll give it to me. It's a bet.)
"Laagi." We high-fived, giggling. Out of nowhere, someone closed my eyes. I heard Paravi say, "Pechano kaun hai." with a small giggle.
(The bet is on.)
(Guess who it is.)
"Akshu." I removed her hands from my eyes and turned to see her smiling and to my surprise, Dr. Abhimanyu was there as well.
I stood up. "Dr. Abhimanyu, aap yaha?" I looked at Paravi, she looked confused too.
(You here?)
"Actually, I was heading to the cafeteria and bumped into your sister. So, we came together."
"Oh. Please have a seat."
"Let us order first." Abhimanyu said, with a light chuckle he added, "I'm famished, so please ignore my crankiness. "It's okay, sir" Paravi and I said together.
They both went to the counter to grab some food. In the meantime, I had my vegan wrap.
They both came with separate trays filled with food and grabbed their seats. Akshu was sitting beside me while Abhimanyu was on Paravi's side of the table.
The whole lunch break, we four shared so many good memories. We talked about everything. I even told them about my and Paravi's bet. Abhimanyu guessed Paravi would win and my sister was with me.
All this while, I felt his gaze on me. Does he feel the same? A warm hue covered my face at the thought of it.
Silly girl. I chided myself.
Updates for this story will be slow and I'll mainly focus on love and friendship because I'm currently writing 5 stories. And I just want to focus on three books. I'm writing one with someone so that ticks a place. Then for the rest two, my focus is on 'love and friendship' and the 'KAIRA- a cluster of stories' book right now.
I hope you liked the chapter. Don't forget to vote and comment. Makes my day! Thank you for reading! ❤️
