All seven of the guys almost called for help when they saw Lucy walking in the kitchen with the biggest smile on her face the next evening.
Lucy always had a stiff look to her, like she was keeping her feelings tightly inside her chest, with a very tight smile on her lips most of the time and a regal, poised stance. In a way, Lucy sort of reminded them of a classical painting, with ethereal looking features, a stoic face and beautiful, silver like hair. But then her personality was... as cold as her magic.
So, that Saturday evening, when the woman walked inside the kitchen to grab Luna's assortment of herbs and dried flowers from the cabinet, with a smile on her lips and a little hum on her throat, the vampires cringed.
"Uh... is she sick, or something?" Hoseok asked, looking at Lucy's back after she had left the kitchen again, with her familiar Raksha right on her tail.
Jin had stopped moving with his arm midway to bringing his cup of coffee to his mouth and, just like his brothers, he was still staring into the archway where Lucy had disappeared into the foyer. He was befuddled, completely and utterly confused. One because it had been years, maybe a whole century, after he had last seen her smile that way. And, two, because she was as beautiful as ever with that smile on her face.
Now, he had been keeping his distance, since she didn't seem to want any of his advances. Jin didn't know if he could, but he could at least try, out of respect for Lucy, to be her friend. But he couldn't help himself feeling that adoration for the woman whenever she was close to him. And, today, with that stunning smile, he was almost weak in the knees.
"I don't think I've ever seen her smile like that." Jungkook said, frowning over his own mug, before taking a long sip of the tea Luna made for him.
"That's because she never smiles like that. I swear, the woman gives me chills, sometimes- Ow!" Namjoon's rude comment was harshly interrupted by a sharp slap in the back of his head by Jin, who scowled at the guy.
"Don't be rude. And she does smile, just... not as often." Jin grumbled, finally making his way out of the kitchen with his coffee, and Yoongi and Hoseok sneering behind him.
The pale haired man elbowed Hoseok, with that little smirk in his lips, and then nodded towards the direction the two had left towards.
"You think they had a thing? He's always so protective of her, one would think Jin's all in love with Lucy." Yoongi said, making Jimin choke a little on his pancakes.
"Jin? In love? Nah, I think they're just friends." Namjoon immediately said, smiling cockily and shaking his head "Jin is like... a celibate!"
Jungkook and Jimin were the ones to snort and start laughing obnoxiously. When they noticed only they were laughing, both looked between themselves and laughed even more, pointing at each other like two idiots.
