Ellie was surprised at how much improvement she had done in a short span of five days. Her fevers had now disappeared, body to the normal temperature and her stomach no longer constantly twisting in horrible knots, not able to stand any kind of food. And all because the Witches had started to help.
She hated to admit it, but Namjoon had been right. Ellie should have told them sooner about her health.
And, also, now she had a mild concept of what those moments of zoning out were. Ellie had never in her entire life heard about Astral Projection. As Amelia had explained, because the pressure of the vision kept harming her mind, her soul was constantly trying to find some sort of peace. That led to her soul detaching from the body and ascending into a more quiet plane, where rest could be found. Luna had explained that Astral Projection was much more complex than that, and it would probably take years for Ellie to be able to do it safely and conciously.
"Thank Goddess you have me, right, love?" Luna had quipped, her smile soft and sweet, the day she had explained all this to Ellie.
Ellie still had a whole bunch of questions to ask, things to mull over and wonder about. But, for now, she was mildly content with having known what was wrong with her.
Namjoon's mood had improved, as well. Luna had snitched and told her he had been worried sick, even tearing up when he thought Ellie was seriously sick and staying beside her to keep watch. Ellie was... surprised. She was half expecting for him to be concerned, yes. But then again, all the guys would be, right?
Why had he made such a fuss?
Memories of the kiss would sometimes come to her mind, and Ellie would flush all over, body getting a bit too hot. And also his words, how he cared for her and wanted to help her.
At that exact moment, she was done messaging Marie about an update on her bar. It seemed the woman was doing an even better job than Ellie had thought. This called for a promotion, most definitely. Besides the fact that her old joint had to close a bit early due to the murders downtown, nothing major had happened. The assassinations were also a bit further into downtown, not close to the bar at all, so maybe everything would turn out for the best.
The twins and Amelia seemed to be over the roof about having Ellie in the house. The fact she was housing there was bothering her a bit, though. This was still Jin's house, his place. Ellie felt bad for crashing like this.
Her eyes drifted towards the couch next to hers, in the living room. Emily was comfortably seated there, a thick book in her hands that she was paying close attention to, while Yoongi was fast asleep with his head on her lap. Emily would occasionally drag her nails and fingertips through his scalp and hair, in soft motions, to which he responded with sighs. It was endearing to see the two of them.
Ellie had also noticed how Jimin and Mina acted around each other. The redhead was always glancing his way, or the other way around, and either one of them always had to be touching. They would either be very close together or simply him touching her hair or Mina playing with his fingers mindlessly when watching TV.
