Ellie was starting to exhaust herself.

Some nights she was fully capable of managing her bar, serving customers, helping the girls around the place and still clean afterwards.

Tonight was not one of these nights. Her body was constantly on the verge of giving up on her, legs heavy and tired and head constantly dizzy, as if filled with fog. It was fairly uncomfortable, but she still had to work, nonetheless. Even if Marie had been a sweetheart by offering to manage things to give her a day off.

Jackson had gotten married a week ago, which had increased her anxiety levels a notch. And now there was the visions that she kept having. After meeting the Witches now living in Jin's house, Ellie's visions were more regular and complex. Sometimes she could even feel the smell and taste of the things she saw. It wasn't particularly nice, considering the gory sights she had been having.

She tied a steady knot at the top of the trash bag and made her way to the back of the bar, where the dumpster was.

The alleyway behind her bar was quiet and dark. The fact that it was now four in the morning was also a big help, since the clubs near her weren't so full. Ellie wasn't startled when she saw the masculine figure leaning against the wall opposite to where she was standing now.

"You don't have to keep picking me up from work, you know?"

The puff of smoke that left his mouth would give him away anywhere.

"I do, actually." He said, smoke coming out from between his lips as he spoke "Gives me comfort, ya know."

"Namjoon, I'm not gonna have another breakdown, you can stop worrying about me." Ellie brought one of her hands to her hip, frowning at the guy as he placed the cigarette between his lips again to draw another intake of nicotine.

"I mean, not that I'm waiting for you to have a breakdown, if that's what you're implying. I'm just being zealous, s'all." He said, throwing the black cigarette butt into the ground to step over it with his black boot.

Ellie rolled her eyes and brushed her hair back. It was in dire need of a cut again and Ellie made a mental note to go to a hairdresser before work one of these days.

"Give me ten minutes, then, I'm almost done."

Her grumble brought a smug smirk to Namjoon's face, who seemed to like that she didn't fight again. The night he, his brothers and the girls had gone to get Mina back, as well as Amelia's powers, Ellie had a vision. It had been, it seemed, something very bad and that still gave her nightmares. Ellie didn't speak much about it. And in the two visits she had made to Jin's house, she barely allowed any of the Witches to speak to her about it. Even Luna, who she seemed to like a lot, didn't know anything.

So, after seeing the state she had been in that night, Namjoon decided he would feel much better by picking her up from work every night. The guys knew he did, so, around this time, he was always free to leave. He couldn't tell if it was to reassure her or himself, but he expected Ellie to open up a little about the vision, at least.
