'scared for the game today?' Charlie asked Neil , their champion that won them every game 'hah , why would I be? balincrest does have a new player though, Todd Anderson? I heard he's really good!' Neil started to doubt himself on the ride there , with all of the Welton boys crammed in and Charlie sitting next to Neil to accompany him in the sea of boys.

as the Balincrest boys approached them , Neil picked out the new boy, Todd and winked at him , just to psych him out. or so Neil thought.. as Charlie , who was somehow their captain shook the Balincrest captain's hand , him and Todd were just laughing and ... staring at each other? Neil hadn't even spoken to the boy , yet this was happening? Somehow , now the game had started and Balincrest was up by two , all because of Todd. He was so quiet , you don't notice when he steals your ball and takes it all the way across the field. 'Neil , what's wrong with you?' Charlie whispered , not even looking at Neil , but the swift blonde smiling at Neil across the field.

He wanted to say , but he said 'I don't know. that Anderson kid has ... something.' 'sounds like someone's head over heels!' he laughed , but he wasn't wrong.
Neil was so distracted by Todd, Welton lost. Later , they had to have a dinner with the smug Balincrest students and of course, Neil was seated next to Todd 'fuck..' he whispered 'well , that's not nice!' Todd said as he heard how mad Neil was over simple seating 'someone's a sore loser..' he said , trying to make conversation 'oh , shut up!' Neil laughed and the sparks flew.

at the end of the night , Neil and Todd were practically engaged , and Todd racked up the courage to say 'h-hey , wanna go out sometime?' 'mhm , yeah maybe to the bookstore!' Neil made a joke , and Todd was in love.
