Neil read the poem aloud, and he acted as if Todd was the only person in the cave '3...2....1' Charlie whispered over to Knox, who scowled at him , letting him know he still wasn't on board with Neil's idea because of Nolan's dictations. 'Todd , may I speak to you.... in private?' Charlie giggled , since he knew what would happen next.

They travelled to their dorm , where none of the poets could bother them . ' i need to tell you something , Todd' he said , before he opened the door to reveal his surprise for Todd inside the room. 'promise you won't get mad?' 'Neil, i promise.' Neil grimaced at the trust Todd had for him , even though he was about to ruin their relationship. 'carpe diem...' he muttered 'i-i love you, Todd...' Todd laughed about how reluctant Neil was to admit his feelings, but Todd didn't exactly try to hide the fact that he reciprocated the brunette's feelings. 'god, you are so oblivious!' Neil opened the door.

'oh..my gosh!' Neil opened the door and Todd was met with a big sign saying 'Happy Birthday!' he didn't think anyone knew of the day it was, but he obviously was a fool (for Neil!) he was suddenly swept up off of his feet by Neil placing his hands on Todd's cheeks 'you looked like you were stargazing! can i kiss you , Todd?' 'when would I say no to that?' he'd dreamed of this moment, but he never thought it would actually happen, or not as wonderful as this..

'Todd , will you be my boyfriend?' Neil pretended to be proposing marriage as he got down on one knee 'of course!' Todd tried to hide how happy he was that he could call Neil all those stupid pet names like 'babe' and 'honey' he laughed 'you can come in now, guys!' Neil knew they would hang around trying to listen to everything that happened 'YAY!' all of the dead poets scurried into the tiny Welton dorm that they all barely fit in and hugged Todd and Neil to death 'i love you, anderperry!' Knox cried out, even though he was opposed to the idea before 'anderperry?' everyone else laughed 'yeah...?' Obknoxious made everyone laugh with his stupid ship name 'i love you , Perry' Neil said to Todd 'no, i love you more, Anderson!' Todd laughed 'you guys aren't even married!'
