Also, for the first few chapters, the book focuses on Nicki and her role as a therapist. I promise they get together in this book, but for the sake of the plot, it happens slowly 😭 Please bear with me y'all. I swearrrr I'll drop a book that's not another slow burn or heavily emotional.
