"Yeah, I actually heard them this morning, Sarah and John B were talking about it"

"There you go, we need to get it, or we can collaborate with them. Well, I'm already collaborating, you need to step in. Talk to John B" I said on the phone

"Yeah, I got a plan, I'm taking him on a fishing trip tomorrow to talk over it" Ward said

"Cool, we'll get this one, you'll see"

"Sure" he made a pause "How are you? Where are you staying?"

"We're good, I had the keys to the beach house my mom inherited me, remember?

"Oh yeah, listen, I had to do it, you know? Rafe is just getting carried away." He explained himself

"I know, I'll try to help him"

"Just to let him drag you down, okay? Rose is really worried about you two"

"Yeah, I've got this, Don't worry"

"Alright, I'll keep you updated"

"Sure" I said before finishing the call

"So, your plan is to melt that shit down?" I asked looking at the three blocks of gold in front of me.

"Yeah" the Pogues said in unison as they shrugged their shoulders

Sarah called me earlier yelling about how John B found the gold and they needed me to go sell it since I was the most self-confident person in the group but before that they had to find a way to melt the gold because it had a wheat stamp on.

"It's gonna work" Kie said holding a blowtorch

"Yeah, sure" I said as she turned it on pointing at the gold

"Like you could've done better" Kie said walking behind JJ and I

I was holding a strange figure of gold with a half marked wheat symbol.

"I could have. I took a welding class" He replied stopping his walking and turning to her

"When-" Kie started saying but was soon interrupted by John B "Hey, hey, sh!" he stepped between them "Chill out, okay?"

"Easy for you to say. You're not the one that has to pawn this piece of shit off." I said looking at the gold with a disgusting face "How did I get this job anyway?" I asked walking forward.

"Cause you're the best liar" JJ said

I rolled my eyes at his words

"Afternoon ma'am" JJ said in a weird voice

I elbowed him in the ribs and went closer to the counter 

"Afternoon" an older lady replied

"I saw in your sign that you buy gold, right? she nodded

"Well, you see, my mom told my brother and I to bring this to you, it might blow your mind"

"I ain't got much mind left to blow, so have at it" she said with expecting eyes 

I took the gold out of my totebag and put it in the counter "How about that gold piece?"

"That ain't real" she chuckled "it can't be"

"Well, feel how heavy it is" I raised my brows at her

She went to grab it but she could barely hold it in one hand
