The Heist

"So, Shoupe did nothing?"

"Yeah, he said we needed proof" JJ said as he dropped on a chair

"I mean, we can't blame him, there wasn't even a drop of blood and the video was gone" Pope said shrugging his shoulders

"God, I knew that guy, he had a family" I said pacing around the porch

"We need to make Ward pay for it" Kie said

"And Rafe" JJ complemented, giving me a quick glance

I ignored his comment

"We need to find either the gun, or... the body" I said

"That's the plan, actually" JJ looked at Pope in a knowing way "Ward dropped the gun on the sewer"

"Dude, it will be impossible to get it from there" Pope said

"Actually no, maybe it isn't that far, we can go look for it, someone can get it" I said walking towards the cooler with beer they had in it, grabbing a can and openning it.

"Once we get it, the only thing they'll have to do is find the handprints and- Eww" I gagged as I took the beer to my lips and got the smell of it. That was weird.

"What's wrong?" JJ asked with furrowed brows 

"Nothing, I just... think I-I swallowed a bug" I lied

Kie looked at me with a strange face

"Okay, we better get moving, guys" Pope said as he stood up and started walking towards the porch's  stairs.

The rest of us following after him.

"You good now? I asked Kie as she sat on her bed

"Yeah, I did smell like shit" She laughed a little and sighed in a sad way after a couple of seconds

"Babe, listen, he'll do the right thing. He has everything to get Ward, it's just a matter of time" I said to her

So, update; we did got the gun, it was right where Ward left it. But we had some complications and by complications I mean Kie almost drowning in the sewer.

The boys suggested on me going into the sewer but I couldn't even stand 5 feet close to it without gagging, so Kie decided to go in, but after some minutes they opened the water pipe and we had to save kie from drowning in the drain.

Luckily, she got the gun, but, when we gave it to Shoupe he was still very insecure about our accusations.

So we just decided to leave the police station, and I took Kiara to her house to take a very needed shower.

"I really hope he does" Kie said with a sad face "I miss John B and Sarah"

"I know, I miss them too" I passed an arm around her shoulders and side hugged her

"How are you feeling? Kie asked in a lower tone

"Uhm, good, thanks for asking?" I broke the hug as the question weirded me out

"Ugh come on, I've been watching you gag the whole day, mom to be" She rolled her eyes giving me knowing face

I chuckled "No, I'm.." I stopped talking as I remembered the pills in my desk 

"It's okay" I shook my head furrowing my brows "I'm on birth control"

"I mean, they work if you don't miss a day" Kie shrugged "Have you missed any?"

I nerviously bit my lower lip "Just...about two months" I replied in a low voice

"Fuuck, you're totally pregnant" Kie realised with her eyes wide open
