Hoshi Point Of View
Minghao and I have been dating for 1 ½ years. Minghao asked me to be his boyfriend after we won an award. I was shocked but happy as I had feelings for him but as I was too scared I would never have asked him. While the 11 members were celebrating our win Minghao and I were in his bed cuddling, being in each other's arms and kissing each other which I really enjoyed.
We have a really strong relationship or I hope we do. The only thing that annoys me is when Minghao talks in Chinese. What I mean by that is when we have small disagreements or when he is annoyed with me or sometimes in general he talks in Chinese and I think he does because he knows I don't understand what he is saying. My best bet is to look at Jun to see his reaction. I can tell if it's bad, funny or good from Juns reaction.
We were filming and I was getting upset but also annoyed. Minghao and I had a spat but we calmed down as we were filming. Minghao was speaking in Chinese which I know is from China. It's a language he is fluent in but when you date someone who you don't know Chinese he could be saying anything about me.
After we finished filming I left the room after the camera's cut out. I packed my things and began to leave but was stopped by Jun.
"Where are you going?" Jun asked.
"Back to the dorm." I said.
"We have more filming to do." Jun said while catching his breath.
"I am sure everyone can do it without me. I need to be on my own." I said.
"Is something going on between Minghao and you?" Jun asked.
"Nothing. Just... I am getting upset, annoyed and frustrated. I need to be on my own so I don't say something I regret. Please let me." I said.
"If you tell me what's wrong then I will let you go and will say to the others." Jun said.
"You can understand my boyfriend and I can't." I said.
"What does that mean?" Jun asked.
"Whenever Minghao speaks in Chinese or Korean you can understand him. I can't understand him when he speaks Chinese. He could be telling you or anyone anything about me. Good or bad and I wouldn't know. It's frustrating when you don't know what your boyfriend is thinking or saying of you in a language you don't know or understand. Please let me go." I said.
Jun pulled me in for a hug and I cried. Letting all my emotions come out. I then heard some of the members come, Minghao being one. I looked at Jun and he signalled me to go, so I did.
"HOSHI!" Minghao yelled.
"He needs time alone. Let him have a few hours then you can go to the dorm while we get food and things." I heard Jun say before I couldn't hear them anymore.
I got to the dorm heading straight to my shared room with Minghao. I took my clothes off then went for a shower. I need to shower but I also shower when I am upset as it isn't as noticeable when I cry. I did cry. I feel so pathetic and childish but I am insecure. I got out, dried my body, did my skincare and brushed my teeth. I put on Minghao's top he uses to sleep in as it's the strongest scent I have of him. I got a tub of ice cream, got comfy in bed and watched South Park.
"Baby? You need to wake up." I heard.
I opened my eyes to see Minghao with wet hair, shirtless but having shorts on. I looked around and found my ice cream gone. Minghao smiled then caressed my cheek, making me lean into his touch. I closed my eyes and sighed in content.
"I am afraid your ice cream is no more as you ate most of it but DK found it while making sure you were okay as he was first to come in and stole it. I will buy you another tub of ice cream." Minghao said. I chuckled at what he said.
"I have a headache." I said softly.
"I have painkillers and some water." Minghao said. I took the painkillers and gulped half the water.
"Can you tell me what happened earlier and why you ran away?" Minghao asked.
"I was being stupid." I said.
"Please tell me." Minghao asked.
I sat up and kissed Minghao. I felt him smile which made me smile as well. I got pushed onto my back while Minghao hovered on top of me. Our kiss turned into a make out session but before I knew it, Minghao pulled away.
"This about me speaking Chinese?" Minghao asked.
"Yes. It's so stupid and ridiculous but I don't think I will overcome it. Sorry." I said with my head down, not looking at my boyfriend.
"I don't understand. You don't like it when I speak Chinese?" Minghao asked.
"I find it very attractive when you speak Chinese, it's just... My issue." I said.
"Can you tell me exactly what you feel?" Minghao asked.
"I am insecure." I said.
"Baby." Minghao said.
"I feel insecure when you speak Chinese because the times you do it, it involves me. You could be saying anything about me, good or bad and I wouldn't know." I said.
"I never say anything bad about you Hoshi, I may say your annoying but I don't mean it as it's usually when we play games. I will try and not do it and speak Chinese when we make love or give you compliments." Minghao said.
"Okay." I said smiling.
"Are we good?" Minghao asked.
"Yea. I feel really stupid but I can't help how I feel." I said.
The rest of the evening Minghao and I cuddled in bed while watching TV. I kissed his cheek and he smiled. I got kissed back and I smiled as well. I snuggled into Minghao's body and I was at peace.
