Dino Point Of View
Mingyu wanted to play badminton and as no one wanted to go with him I volunteered. We got our stuff ready and headed out. We had something to eat while on the way we talked and I did warn him about my badminton skills as I know I suck.
"As you haven't done badminton before, we will forget the net and just focus on hitting the shuttlecock back and forth." Mingyu said.
"Stupid question but how do I hit it?" I asked while scratching my head.
After a little while of Mingyu teaching me I could follow what Mingyu was telling me and we kept a rally going. Then the net became a big problem. I could tell he was getting frustrated but I am trying my best. After a little more time we could actually keep the rally going and I was proud of myself.
"Now after a small break we can do points?" Mingyu asked.
"Sounds fun." I said and smiled.
"Do you remember the lines and things?" Mingyu asked.
"Yes Hyung." I said smiling.
30 minutes later and I was laying on the floor done as I am so tired.
"Let's call it a day. We can come back again and hopefully we can play more than the half hour we just did." I said.
"How about a small game of up to 4 points." Mingyu said, giving me his puppy dog eyes.
"Fine." I said. It's rare for me to feel like a hyung but at that moment I felt like I was the older one and Mingyu was younger than me.
Mingyu had two points and I had one. We had a rally going for a while before I step out to hit the shuttlecock then felt my ankle go from under me.
"AAHHHHH!" I screamed.
"Oh my god. You okay?" Mingyu asked, running to me.
"I've done something to my ankle." I hissed out.
"I need to call management as well as S.coups hyung." Mingyu said.
"Please don't call S.coups hyung." I said, trying to breath through the pain.
"Why?" Mingyu asked.
"He is doing a live with the others and I know he hasn't done a live in a while. I don't want to ruin it as well as make fans worry if S.coups tells them and the members he is with." I said.
"Phone our manager and see what the hospital says as I know I can't put weight on it. We can tell them on the way back." I said.
After a few minutes our manager came running into the room. I was put in a wheelchair and wheeled out to the car as it was the easy way instead of trying to carry me out. I was watching the live S.coups, Jeonghan and Joshua was doing. I laughed when Hoshi jumped into view. I was distracting myself then I saw S.coups on his phone.
"Mingyu. Please tell me you didn't do what I think you did." I said. I looked at Mingyu and saw the look and I knew he texted S.coups.
"He is our leader and our Hyung. He needs to know." Mingyu defended himself.
S.Coups Point Of View
Our live was going well. Fans were happy to see me as I hadn't done a live for a while. We had been doing the live for about an hour. I was kinda passing time as Dino was with Mingyu. There is tension that I don't know where it came from but Joshua said to me it's because Dino was worried about me. I then got a text.
THE TEXTS
Giant Puppy Mingyu
"Hi Coups hyung. I know you're doing a live and Dino told me not to tell you. As your our leader and the oldest you need to know and I can face the consequences of Dino later but our manager is with us as we are heading to the hospital."
ME
"What do you mean hospital? Is everything okay?"
Giant Puppy Mingyu
"Dino injured himself. I will take blame as he said for us to stop but I wanted to keep going. Our manager said for you all to stay at the dorms and I will keep you updated as it's really busy here."
Giant Puppy Mingyu
"Please try and not worry. Dino is crying because I told you and he is watching the live as we speak and can see your reaction. I promise to give you updates as soon as I get told stuff."
My Maknae
"Please don't worry about me. I am Seventeen's strong Maknae and I know I have 12 brothers who will help me. Enjoy the live the best you can and when the live has stopped then tell the others as they will be wanting to know why Mingyu hyung and I aren't back yet."
Me
"How can I enjoy this when I know my Maknae is at the hospital and I can't be there to help."
"Hi everyone I need to leave as Mingyu texted me. I will do another live later. Bye." I said then left.
I got to the hospital in 20 minutes then phoned Mingyu to come get me at the car park. As we walked to where Dino was Mingyu was telling me what happened.
"What lesson did you learn from this?" I asked.
"When someone says to stop we stop." Mingyu said with his head down.
"I am really sorry, hyung." Mingyu added.
"Where am I?" Dino asked after 2 hours.
"You're in the hospital Dino." I said softly.
"You been here long?" Dino asked.
"Just over two hours. Mingyu went home to get changed, shower and to make us food for when we go home." I said. Dino nodded.
"Why didn't you want Mingyu to tell me you were injured and going to the hospital?" I asked.
"I know you were worrying about your own health with your injury and I didn't want to add to it." Dino said and looked down as well.
I went to him and sat beside him on the bed. I made sure I wouldn't fall before bringing Dino into a cuddle.
"I am your leader and oldest hyung. I will always worry about my friends, brothers and band members. Whether everyone is healthy or some are ill, injured or even having a bad day. My job is to make sure everyone in the team is okay and you're the baby. Everyone cares about you a lot, especially me." I said.
"I know you worried a lot about me with my injury but I am so much better now. We can go home and cuddle while watching a movie. How about that." I said and I knew Dino was smiling.
I kissed his forehead and felt Dino relax. We made it to the dorms and all of the members were at Dino's aid. Mingyu made Dino's favs as a way to apologize. I placed Dino on the sofa and helped set his leg up. Jeonghan brought him a blanket and his pillow from his bed. I sat beside him and we cuddled like we did at the hospital.
"Thank you hyung. Sorry I wasn't going to tell you." Dino said.
"It's okay, just don't do that again." I said.
For the next few weeks Dino will be getting cuddles as I know he missed me when I was away.
