Mingyu Point Of View
I woke up to my alarm. I slapped my hand on my nightstand instead of my alarm which hurt. I laid out my clothes as I am going for an interview. I have never babysat before but I need the money and I have been told I am good with kids.
I have a light blue shirt and black jeans and black trainers. I packed my bag the night before so I got ready then had breakfast. I locked up my house and headed for the interview. I went past the house 4 times as I didn't expect I would be babysitting some rich person's child. I have no idea who I am meeting as it was the person's assistant who looked through the applications.
I parked, checked myself in the mirror to make sure I looked good and sprayed some cologne then left. I knocked on the door and a maid answered.
"Hi, I am here for an interview for babysitting." I said.
"Please come in. Follow me." The maid so I did.
"Wait here while I get the boss. Make yourself at home. The tea and biscuits you can have if you wish." The maid said again then left.
I sat looking around. I saw a man come into the room and he looked so fine. So my type. He looks really young to have a kid but there are many people in the world in their teens who have kids.
"Hi sir. I am Kim Mingyu for the interview." I said then bowed.
"I am Wonwoo. Let's go to my office. Follow me." Wonwoo said so I followed him.
I sat down when he gestured after he sat down.
"Do you have a resume with you?" Wonwoo asked.
"Yes. I have my CV and the job application filled out." I said then handed the folder to him.
"You are really young and have a full career ahead of you so I have one question. Why do you want to babysit?" Wonwoo asked.
"I played basketball professionally. I got a scholarship and I was doing really well. I got injured in one of the matches and was told I couldn't play anymore as it would cause more damage and possibly leave me in a wheelchair if I continued. I was crushed and felt lost for a while. My friends have kids and I babysit for them. They reminded me I love kids and I love being able to help them and watch them grow. I don't know if I will only babysit but I hope it will put me on the right track." I said.
"I like you already." Wonwoo said.
"Excuse me?" I asked shocked.
"I will tell you about the job and my two kids." Wonwoo said.
"Okay sir." I said.
"I have two kids. My oldest is 6 who is my son and my youngest is 2 who is my daughter. They are both my whole world and I can't bear to let something happen to them so I am really picky about who I let into my home. Especially when it's my kids at the front of it. I am a CEO in my own company I built from the ground up. I work really long hours and sometimes don't get back until really late. 2 maids are always in the house at all times in case of emergency or when it's my late night. Does it sound okay so far?" Wonwoo said and I nodded.
