You sat beside Toji, feeling uneasy as he stared blankly at the screen. Normally, he would be making lewd comments or suggestive actions, but not this time. It was unusually quiet, and you couldn't help but wonder what was going on in his head.
Every once in a while, he'd glance at you, a strange look in his eyes. You couldn't place what it was, but it seemed to be a mix of confusion and irritation.
You didn't know how to interpret it, so you decided to focus on the TV show, trying to ignore the weight of his stare. As the episode ended, Toji finally spoke.
"Well, that was entertaining." He said, breaking the silence.
You let out a breath you didn't realize you were holding. "Yeah, it was."
There was a moment of silence before Toji spoke again.
"Y/N, maybe I should warn you. Don't get too comfortable. I'm not exactly fond of sharing." He winked at you, attempting to lighten the mood. But this time, his words hit differently, making you feel uneasy, as if he was marking his territory.
You rolled your eyes, dismissing his comment. "Whatever, Toji. I don't need your approval on who I like or don't like."
With a sly grin, Toji leaned closer to you. "So, Y/N. Do you ever think about hooking up with your mystery man?"
You scoffed, knowing it was coming. "Why does it matter to you, Toji?"
He grinned, displaying his piercing gaze. "Because I want to know if I still stand a chance with you."
You snorted, amused by his audacity. "You never did. And I'm not interested in you."
Toji didn't back down, his eyes gleaming with lust. "Oh, I could change your mind. All it takes is one night, and you'll forget all about your little friend."
Toji's advances didn't surprise you, but this time, it felt different. There was an intensity in his gaze, a hunger that seemed to burn through your soul. Before you could react, he swiftly moved, pushing you onto the couch. His muscular body loomed over you, his hot breath brushing against your cheek as he leaned in close, staring deeply into your eyes
Your heart raced as he pinned your wrists above your head, trapping you in place. You looked up at him, bewildered. This was the closest he's ever gotten to assaulting you, and it left you feeling speechless..
"Let go of me, Toji." You commanded, trying to sound stern despite the tremble in your voice. It was evident that you didn't enjoy what he was doing
He didn't budge, his grip firm on your wrists. "You're always so hard to convince, Y/N. But I'll wear you down eventually."
His lips hovered dangerously close to yours, but he never kissed you. Instead, he maintained his position, waiting for your reaction.
You held your breath, waiting for the moment when he'd either back off or force himself on you. Suddenly, you let out a hot breath that brushed against Toji's cheeks. He felt the quiver in your breath, and it jarred him. It was the first hint of vulnerability he had ever seen from you, and it hit him like a ton of bricks. That was not what he wanted. He didn't want you to be scared or uncomfortable.
He knew he was pushing you too far, and the satisfaction he thought he would get from this situation was nowhere to be found.
His grip on your wrists loosened, and he slowly lifted himself off you. He watched as you sat up, rubbing your wrists to ease the discomfort.
Toji looked away, his face contorting into a mask of confusion. He couldn't understand why seeing your fear affected him so much.
He ran a hand through his hair, looking back at you, "Tch. I was just messing with you. Forget I said anything."
Toji left you there in the living room alone, leaving you feeling confused and shaken by what just happened.
Is it really true that he was just messing up with you, or was there something else? You didn't know, but one thing was for sure, tonight's encounter would linger in your mind for days.

The following morning, you woke up to the sound of your phone ringing on the nightstand. You groggily reached for it, squinting at the screen to see Suguru's name.
(On Call...)
You answered the call. "Hello?"
Suguru greeted you with a warm smile, "Good morning, Y/N. I'm sorry I couldn't text you back last night. Things got complicated during the mission."
You yawned, stretching your arms above your head. "That's fine. How did it go?"
Suguru explained, "It was intense. I managed to get the job done, but I'm exhausted. I'm heading back to the hotel now to rest."
"That's good to hear, Suguru. Make sure you get some proper rest." you said, concern lacing your voice.
He picked up on the tiredness in your tone. "Y/N, I'm sorry. Did I wake you up? I should've checked the time first."
You chuckled, running a hand through your hair. "No, it's alright. Besides, it's also nice to hear from you early in the morning."
Suguru seemed relieved. "I'm glad. But I guess I was just excited to hear your voice."
You blushed at his words, trying to brush it off as a simple compliment. "Maybe you're just tired and hearing my voice made you feel better."
But Suguru wouldn't let it go that easily. "No, I really do miss talking to you."
You shifted, feeling a little shy. "Well, I'll try to keep in touch more often. But I gotta go now. I need to prepare to get to work."
Suguru nodded, "Of course. Be safe at work, okay? And I'll text you later when I'm awake. Take care."
You smiled, "Thank you, Suguru. Have a great rest, and I'll talk to you later."
(End Of Call...)
As you hung up the call, you couldn't shake off the memory of the previous night. Toji's aggressive behavior left a bitter taste in your mouth. Despite that, you couldn't deny that a part of you felt relieved when he backed off.
You decided to put it out of your mind for now. After all, you needed to get ready for work. You showered, and dressed. After changing into your work clothes, you stepped out of your room to find Toji in the kitchen, making himself a cup of coffee. Your heart skipped a beat as you saw him, and you swallowed hard, trying to regain your composure.
Toji turned around, seeing you standing at the doorway. He smirked, his gaze flickering over your body. "Good morning, Sunshine! Did you sleep well last night?"
You scoffed, trying to hide your unease. "Tch. Why do you care?"
He chuckled, taking a sip of his coffee. "Well, just remember that I'm always here, ready to sweep you off your feet."
You rolled your eyes, turning to grab your snack from the counter. "Yeah, and I'll always remember to push you off a cliff."
Toji laughed, seemingly unaffected by your rejection. "Now that's a promise I'd like to hold you to."
Toji's sudden change in demeanor left you feeling even more confused. One minute he was practically attacking you, and now he was acting like nothing happened. It was unsettling, to say the least.
But you know you couldn't get any answers, or even ask, since you already needed to leave for work. You grabbed your bag, took a deep breath, and walked past Toji. But before you could even step outside the apartment, he called out to you, "Hey! Aren't you forgetting something?"
You paused, glancing back at him. "What?"
Toji arched an eyebrow, a smirk playing on his lips. "Bye."
You ignored him, leaving the house without another word. Toji sighed, shaking his head. He knew you'd never fall for his charms, but he couldn't help but try.
