You were deep in the midst of deciphering some cases when your colleague poked her head inside your office. "Hey, Y/N. There's a delivery for you out in the hall."

Caught off guard, you quickly saved the document you were working on and stood up. "A delivery? What could it be?"

You followed your colleague into the hallway, where a bouquet of flowers, and a pizza box, sat on top of the table. Your heart skipped a beat as you saw the familiar handwriting on the attached letter.

You opened the letter, reading:

"Hey, Y/N. I hope this pizza and bouquet of flowers brighten up your day. Eat up and enjoy your day! See you soon."

A small smile tugged at the corners of your lips as you realized it was from Suguru. You gently sniffed the flowers, inhaling their sweet scent, before carrying the bouquet and the pizza box back to your office.

Upon returning to your desk, you placed the bouquet in a vase that you kept for such occasions. Then, you settled down to enjoy your lunch, indulging in the warm, cheesy goodness of the pizza.

Halfway through your meal, your colleague popped back into your office, eyeing the pizza and bouquet.

"Hey, Y/N! Did your roommate send you that pizza and flowers?" She teased, pointing at the bouquet sitting on your desk. You rolled your eyes, playfully swatting her arm. "No, it's not my roommate. It's from someone a lot better."

She chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "Someone better, huh? You're keeping us all intrigued. Care to spill the beans?"

You grinned, shrugging your shoulders. "It's from a good friend. Case closed."

Your colleague didn't seem convinced. "Come on. You know I won't let this go. Who is he? Is he tall, dark, and handsome? Or is he the charming type?"

You chuckled, finishing off your pizza. "He's more of the quiet, and laidback type. But he's kind and considerate."

Your colleague raised an eyebrow, looking amused. "You know, your roommate is going to get jealous."

You couldn't help but laugh, shaking your head. "Toji? Jealous? Please, he doesn't even care about me in that way. He's just a pervert who thinks he can win me over with his charm. And Toji's too busy chasing skirts!"

"Hmph. Maybe, but you'll never know. Men are complicated creatures, after all." Your colleague teased before leaving your office, leaving you to your thoughts.

After a long and tiring day at work, you finally made your way back to the apartment, lugging your heavy case files in one hand and the letter from Suguru in the other. You couldn't wait to collapse onto your bed and rest.

As you entered the apartment, you noticed Toji lounging in the kitchen, leaning against the countertop, sipping on a can of energy drink. He looked up at you, offering a half-smile.

You were about to walk past him, when your phone began to ring. You sighed, glancing at the screen. It was an important call from your boss, so you hurriedly set down your belongings on the table.

As you stepped out of the apartment to take the call, you heard Toji mutter something under his breath. You couldn't make out the words, but you did catch the distinct sound of him cursing.

You returned inside the apartment a few minutes later, only to find Toji standing near the table, frowning about something.

"What's wrong with you?" You asked, grabbing your things and Suguru's letter from the table.
