Upper Moon 3

Yuzuki pov

"Caw caw!! You're requested to assist Rengoku Kyojuro! An upper moon has shown up!"

"Head straight and then turn right!"

Suki has been giving me the directions to the train where Rengoku-san had gone on a mission.

'God I hope I'm not late' this has been the only thought in my mind.

In a small clearing in the front I can figure out something happening. The place was full of dust making it difficult to figure out. But i could still see two figures attacking each other.

My eyes widened when I saw Rengoku-san. His one eye was bleeding profusely and I'm pretty sure he won't be able to see in that eye again.

I wasn't able to see which ranked upper moon it was as his back was facing me.

Behind Rengoku-san, i saw a guy in green checkered haori kneeling down on the ground. His hand around his stomach which was bleeding. Tanjiro?

"DIE KYOJURO!" My eyes snapped back to the fight and widened when I saw the demons hand was about to go through Rengoku-san's stomach.

Tanjiro pov

'They're so fast. Both of them. I can't keep up with their movements!'

"DIE KYOJURO!"

"NO!! RENGOKU-SAN!!" my throat hurts from shouting. The dust rises up again making me cover my eyes.

Did I just see a purple sword? Or am I hallucinating?

"Moon breathing, first form, dark moon: evening palace"

The dust cleared up and I saw rengoku-san a bit away from Akaza, the upper moon three. There's someone else who's shielding Rengoku-san.

Brown-burgundy hair with lilac ends. Wait.  She managed to cut akaza's hand before it went through Rengoku-san's stomach!

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Rengoku-san coughing.

"R-rengoku san!!" I made my way towards him and pulled him back into a safer distance. One of his eyes was already damaged and he was bleeding too much.

"Another Hashira? A female? I don't like to hurt females" akaza said as he stood straight in front of her.

"Moon breathing, third form, loathsome moon: chains" a honey sounding voice says and two crescent shaped slashes are seen after which several small crescent shaped slashes are seen.

"Ah you're a strong one! Tell me your name! What's your name?!"

"Moon breathing, fourth form, crescent moon" multiple curved slashes that looked like a vortex were seen. She sliced akaza's body diagonally into two parts but being an upper moon, he regenerated fast enough.

Moon Hashira? But I don't remember seeing her at the Hashira meeting that day... Her moves were so clean it was as if she was moving like a fluid...

"Ah the sun's rising. I would've loved to fight with you for a little longer."

"Moon breathing, second form, pearl flower moongazing." Three crescent shaped slashes along with many small slashes were seen which managed to cut akaza's skin more.

"You're strong! Hope we'll meet again!" Akaza shouted as he ran away. The sun was coming up.

"COME BACK HERE YOU COWARD! DON'T LEAVE!" I shouted my lungs out at him as he ran away without a second glance.

"Hey.. don't shout, your wounds will open up." I looked up to find the Moon Hashira smiling down at me...

Her smell is so kind... I can smell a strong sense of passion too... And her smile... It's so beautiful and calming...

"Rengoku-san... You do know that you won't be able to see in your other eye again don't you? Shinobu-san is going to be so mad at you." She said as she knelt down beside him.

"Atleast I'm alive... Thank you Tsukumo. I think I'll still be able to keep working as a Hashira..." 

"Tanjiro... Close your mouth. There's too much dust here."

I closed my mouth abruptly realising that she caught me staring at her...

"Tanjiro! Rengoku-san! Are you both okay?!"

I saw zenitsu running towards us with the wooden box on his back having nezuko in it. Inosuke was behind him too.

"Kamado, my boy, I accept you and nezuko as a part of demon slayer corps. I saw the way she helped the humans inside the train..." Rengoku-san said looking at me making my eyes tear up. I looked at Tsukumo-san, as Rengoku-san had called her, to see her smiling as well..

"Ah sorry! I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Tsukumo Yuzuki, the Moon Hashira." 

"Tsukumo-san why weren't you present in the Hashira meeting?" I asked not being able to control my curiosity.

"I was out on a mission. But I've heard about you and your sister, as well as your friends. I'm having high hopes from you all."

"OMGGGG YOU'RE SOOO PRETTYYY! WILL YOU MARRY MEEEE?!" Zenitsu shouted as he latched himself onto her while the said Hashira giggled.

"I believe y'all are much younger than me Zenitsu..."

"OMGGG YOU KNOW MY NAMEEEE?!"

"HEY MUSUKO! FIGHT WITH ME!" Tsukumo-san blinked at Inosuke before realising that he mis-spoke her name.

"Sure inosuke, but first you need to get treated" she smiled at him and even though I couldn't see it behind his mask, but by the way inosuke was staring, I knew he was blushing.

"Ah the kakushi is here. I'll see you guys at the butterfly estate again. And don't worry, I'll take nezuko with me." Tsukumo-san bid us a bye and instructed the kakushi to take us to the butterfly estate fast before leaving with nezuko.

The second chapter is hereeee! Double update! Hope y'all liked it. I really didn't want kyojuro to die. I cried buckets when he died in the movie. So not letting him die this time!
