Epilogue (Giyu x Yuzuki)

After the hashira meeting, it was decided that those who want to continue with the corps may do so since there were still demons lurking around.

Obanai and Mitsuri couldn't continue anymore as Obanai had lost his eyes and Mitsuri had lost one of her arms.

Rengoku and Shinobu also retired from the corps. Rengoku had promised his brother that after defeating Muzan he wouldn't continue as a slayer anymore. Shinobu on the other hand decided to focus on medicine.

Gyomei too retired from slaying demons and instead focused on training younger slayers since he had lost one of his legs.

The only ones who continued were Sanemi Muichiro, Giyu and Yuzuki.

Among the youngsters, Tanjiro and Inosuke wished to continue whereas Zenitsu and Genya had retired. Well, Genya was practically forced by Sanemi to retire and was now living with him.

Yushiro decided to become an artist. He had moved to the city with Chachamaru and opened his own art gallery. After the battle ended, he had made a medicine for the Hashiras and Tanjiro. It was to keep them alive even after turning 25. For Shinobu, he had made a different medicine to help with the poison in her body.

Without Muzan, the demons had gone haywire... For the first few weeks, there was not much movement. But all of a sudden an upsurge of demons took place as all of them attacked the nearby villages at once. The good thing was, they all were extremely weak and one could even decapitate them without using any breathing style.

Another good thing was, after the battle ended and the Hashiras were well enough, Giyu had confessed his feelings for the Moon Hashira and also proposed to her... Yuzuki, though shocked at first, accepted it at once and hugged him, making the water hashira flustered...

The embarrassing part was, the other slayers were standing outside the door. As soon as Yuzuki hugged Giyu, the door burst open followed by some squeals and excited claps...

"Tomioka-san, we never knew that you could be romantic too." Shinobu said as she raised her eyebrows at the water hashira teasingly which resulted in him giving her his all time deadpan look.

"That was flamboyant!" Uzui exclaimed as he pulled both of their cheeks.

"Oi take care of her. If anything happens to petal, I'll make sure to cut you into pieces and feed you to the demons." Sanemi said with his usual scowl but a hint of smile was visible on his face.

"Congratulations Tomioka-san and Yuzuki-san!!" Mitsuri squealed and gave the moon Hashira a hug.

"Congrats you both." Iguro said as his Kaburamaru made its way to Yuzuki and slithered up her arm. It hissed at the water hashira probably warning him to take care of her making Yuzuki laugh as she patted it's head.

Muichiro went up to them and hugged them both muttering a soft 'congratulations'. Yuzuki's eyes teared up as she hugged him back. He was always like a younger brother to her. She was glad he was all fine.

"Congratulations Tomioka and Tsukumo! Get married soon!" Rengoku's voice boomed in the room and the mentioned Hashiras smiled in response.

"I wish you both a happy life, congratulations!" Gyomei said as he patted both of their heads.

"I HEARD TSUKUMO-SAN IS GETTING MARRIED?!"

"CONGRATULATIONS YUZUKI-SAN AND GIYU-SAN!"

"OI YOU BOTH FIGHT ME BEFORE YOU GET MARRIED!"

"Congratulations Yuzuki-san and Giyu-san!"

The door opened once again as Zenitsu, Tanjiro, Inosuke and Genya entered the room.
