Upper Moon 2

The moon Hashira landed in front of a door. The whole place reeked of demons which made her feel nauseated. The crows were flying around guiding their slayers. Yuzuki couldn't help but feel worried for her crow.

"CAWWW! Head front!! Lots of demons are there!" Relief washed over her senses as soon as she saw Suki, her crow, flying above her head.

Following the directions Suki was giving her, she soon entered a room where three demons were present. Two demon slayers were trying to fight them off but the demons managed to deflect their attacks.

"Moon breathing, third form, loathsome moon, chains." Two broad crescent shaped slashes were performed by the moon Hashira which managed to decapitate one of the demons. It also freed the slayer who was in the hands of the demon.

Sensing her interruption, the other two demons shifted their attention to her.

"Ara ara, a Hashira?"

One of the demons spoke as his tongue slithered in and out. The other demon had only one eye on his forehead.

The demon with a single eye sent some plate like circle things which the moon Hashira figured out were poisoned. She also realised that she shouldn't use maximum of her energy here. The fight with Muzan was going to be long.

"Moon breathing, fifth form, moon spirit calamitous eddy." Multitude of layered curved slashes were sent towards the demon which deflected his attacks and also beheaded him.

"Moon breathing, first form, dark moon, evening palace." With a single horizontal slash Yuzuki beheaded the third demon who had pouched on her.

"Are you guys okay?" Yuzuki asked as she made her way towards the slayers in the room...

"T-thank you Yuzuki-sama!" Yuzuki knelt down and held up both the slayers by their shoulders as they had bowed down.

"You don't need to thank me, just stay safe okay? And don't think twice before calling for help. If any of the Hashiras are free, they'll definitely come to your help." She smiled and patted on their heads as they nodded.

"Suki, where are the other Hashiras?"

"Giyu and Tanjiro are fighting Upper Moon 3 Akaza. Shinobu and Kanao are fighting Upper Moon 2 Doma. Mitsuri and Obanai are fighting Upper moon 4 Nakime. Zenitsu is fighting Upper Moon 6 Kaigaku. Gyomei, Genya, Muichiro and Sanemi are fighting Upper Moon 1 Kokushibo. Rengoku is fighting off the other demons and helping the lower ranked slayers."

'Zenitsu is fighting Upper Moon 6 alone?'

"Suki, how's Zenitsu doing against Upper 6?"

"He seems to have the upper hand till now, also it feels like he has some personal enmity with the demon."

'Ah is it the same demon because of whom Zenitsu's mentor had to commit seppuku?' realising that must be it, Yuzuki decides to let him be.

"Suki, take me where Upper 2 is."

"CAW! Turn right!"

"Moon breathing, seventh form, mirror of misfortune, moonlit." The moon Hashira performed a frontal crescent shaped slash cutting the arm of the Upper Moon 2 as he was about to devour Shinobu.

"Yu-yuzuki san?"

"Sorry Shinobu-san. But I'm not letting you die when I'm here." Yuzuki said as she extended her hand towards the insect Hashira helping her get up. She looked at Kanao before giving her a small smile and ruffled her hair.

"Another Hashira? You are also a pretty one. I'll have so much food once I kill you all."

"Moon breathing, eighth form, moon dragon ringtail." A massive long ranged curved slash was released which plucked one of the rainbow coloured eyes of the upper moon.
