Epilogue (Sanemi x Yuzuki)

After the hashira meeting, it was decided that those who want to continue with the corps may do so since there were still demons lurking around.

Obanai and Mitsuri couldn't continue anymore as Obanai had lost his eyes and Mitsuri had lost one of her arms.

Rengoku and Shinobu also retired from the corps. Rengoku had promised his brother that after defeating Muzan he wouldn't continue as a slayer anymore. Shinobu on the other hand decided to focus on medicine.

Gyomei too retired from slaying demons and instead focused on training younger slayers since he couldn't continue anymore after loosing one of his legs.

The only ones who continued were Giyu, Muichiro, Sanemi and Yuzuki.

Among the youngsters, Tanjiro and Inosuke wished to continue whereas Zenitsu and Genya had retired. Well, Genya was practically forced by Sanemi to retire and was now living with him.

Yushiro decided to become an artist. He had moved to the city with Chachamaru and opened his own art gallery. After the battle ended, he had made a medicine for the Hashiras and Tanjiro. It was to keep them alive even after turning 25. For Shinobu, he had made a different medicine to help with the poison in her body.

Without Muzan, the demons had gone haywire... For the first few weeks, there was not much movement. But all of a sudden an upsurge of demons took place as all of them attacked the nearby villages at once. The good thing was, they all were extremely weak and one could even decapitate them without using any breathing style.

Yuzuki was given a break and thus had gone to meet Obanai and Mitsuri. The sun had already started setting when she returned back to her estate.

"Oi petal! There's a festival today in the neighbouring town... Will you come with me?" Before she could enter inside her estate, she heard Sanemi's voice which made her turn around.

"Suree! When are we going?"

"Now. Get ready and meet me outside your estate." The wind hashira said as he flicked her on the forehead.

Yuzuki wore a light blue coloured yukata that had small deep blue flowers and green leaves drawn... She put her hair in a bun and secured it with the moon-star hairpin.

Going outside, she found Sanemi waiting for her. He was wearing a light green coloured jinbei.

The summer was setting in and the weather was getting warm with every passing day...

Sanemi's ears flushed pink as he saw her coming out. There were very few moments where he had seen the Moon Hashira in normal clothes. Everytime he did, she looked unbelievably cute.

"Sanemi-san! Let's go!"

The wind hashira cleared his throat and nodded at her as both of them made their way to the neighbouring town. Genya, who was peeking through the doors of the Wind estate hoped that everything will go well...

As they reached the town, they went in different shops, searching for things they could buy. Realising it was already time for dinner, both of them entered a shop that was popular for selling udon.

As they finished their food, Sanemi paid and dragged her outside the shop.

"Petal, come with me, and close your eyes."

"Eh? Where-"

Before she could complete, the moon Hashira was already dragged away by the wind hashira and she had no other choice but to close her eyes hoping that she wouldn't trip and fall face flat. But she was glad that Sanemi was holding her hand.
