It wasn't a big deal for Siddharth to eliminate the targets. It took him barely fifteen minutes before he managed to take out the guarding men of the minister’s son before knocking him out completely.

All the while, Vikram managed to free the kids that the minister's son had kept locked in.

Siddharth knew Abhishek would come for his rescue. He couldn't help but laugh at the thought. Abhishek came to save him but it wasn't him who needed saving.

Siddharth felt warm at the thought of Abhishek being worried for him. He felt happy. Truly happy.

Now, standing to Abhishek's side and playing with the open long red hooded cloak of the elder's, Siddharth watched as Abhishek talked with the kids in a calming tone, relaxing them.

While on the other side, Vikram kept glancing at Bantu who kept looking straight ahead, not giving him any attention. Siddharth shook his head. He needed to do something about it asap or else, Vikram would indeed end up being hopeless.

❝Bantu,❞ the male straightened up at his name call. ❝Take the kids to a safe place and look for their parents or someone with whom they would be safe.❞ Abhishek said, facing the male.

Bantu nodded when Siddharth immediately spoke up.
❝Vicky Bhaiya can help Bantu Bhaiya. He's really good at finding information.❞

Hearing that, Vikram's face lit up. Abhishek stared at Siddharth with mixed emotions. Before he could say anything in response to the younger, Bantu rejected.

❝Of course not.❞ And Vikram's face fell. A sulking expression visible on his face as he stared at the side profile of Bantu beside him.
❝I don't need anyone's help. I can do it well on my own.❞

Siddharth frowned, looking at the male. He seemed very stubborn. Siddharth internally huffed before looking down and pouting sadly. He let go of Abhishek's red cloak and stood with a sad expression.

And obviously, Abhishek can't see his little brother sad like this. And Siddharth was, somehow, very well aware of it. And so, Bantu also realized; there's no way out of it.

❝Bantu, take Vikram with you. It will save plenty of time.❞ Vikram found joy again, though he managed to suppress a smile. On the other hand, Bantu only could let out a heavy sigh. He looked at Siddharth, noticing the slight curve of the side of his lips.

The little menace was smirking, enjoying everything. Bantu couldn't help but huff in amusement. Seems like both Siddharth and Vikram were onto it together. Seems like the little menace isn't that innocent as Abhishek thinks him of.

Bantu, ❝Whatever.❞ he muttered with a scoff and walked over to the kids, taking their hands in his before facing Vikram.

Bantu, ❝You want an invitation or what? Get the car.❞ And Vikram didn't need to be tell twice and he was already out.

Bantu bit the inside of his cheeks before glaring at Abhishek.
❝We'll talk about this later.❞ Abhishek gulped, but kept his strong demeanor on. He can't risk losing face in front of his brother.

Once Bantu and Vikram also left, then Abhishek and Siddharth also left the place, walking over to the car in which Surabhi and Samriddhi were already in, waiting for them. Vikram and Bantu had left with the kids in Vikram's car.

Just as they approached the car, Siddharth’s smile faltered. Seeing the twins, he did not feel the confusion or shock that others usually feel. Instead, he felt an unsettling feeling inside him at the sight of the twins.
