Chapter Twenty Three - Happy

A/N: I hate this chapter the most so far. It's almost the end and I don't know how to connect the plot points so it's just sloppy and thrown together... sorry T-T

Sunghoon doesn't sleep much that night. Jake's words keep running through his mind.

"Heeseung is in love with you."

"He chose you"

He doesn't know what to do. He doesn't want to hurt Jake any further, but hearing those words after not seeing Heeseung for a few days was messing with his head. He needs to see him.

Sunghoon sits up quickly when the older actually responds.

Sunghoon checks the time. There was only twenty minutes left before he needed to leave, and Jake wasn't back yet. He sighs and gets up to get dressed.

Jake will come around when he's ready. Sunghoon has no choice but to give him space.

Still, the silence gives him a sick feeling.

Sunghoon waits patiently inside the classroom. He's sitting in his usual spot, earlier than expected. It was raining heavily this morning, and he noticed a couple emergency vehicles rushing around.

People can't drive when it's raining. Sunghoon shakes his head with the thought and closes his eyes. He decides to rest his head on the table while he waits for Heeseung to arrive.

"No one pissed in your cereal today, right?" Jay asks. Sunghoon groans in frustration and buries his head in his arms.

"Seriously, fuck off, dude."

"I'm not bothering you. I told you a while ago that I sit here because it's quieter."

"And yet all you do is run your stupid ass mouth." Sunghoon turns his head to glare at him.
