The first month after Jake's death was the most difficult part of Heeseung's life. He had lost his best friend, his childhood friend, and the ex he still had lingering feelings for. All at the same time. And once he was released from the hospital, he was busy with his mom. They were evicted from their house, and he had no choice but to drop out from university. He could only assume Sunghoon had done the same since he never saw him again.
Getting back on their feet was difficult.
He worked multiple jobs at the same time to afford the rent. They lived in an apartment building for a while, but that didn't last very long.
