Kanna slowly withdrew her hand. She tingled, the back of her hand tingling.

"Kalen, let me see how Lucy is."

The, Kalen slowly rose from his seat. When he turned around, his face was stained with anger.

It was all Kanna's fault. No, no..

'It's my fault.'

It was something she shouldn't have trusted Kanna in the first place.

When Kanna suddenly came out to know medicine, he should have just snorted and passed by. Why did he believe her?

Or, should he stopped it when she was sticking that needle or something into Lucy's body.

A bizarre thing that he had never heard of before, he had to stop it when she want out to claim it was a cure.

'It's all my fault.

Kalen's stomach churned with intense guilt.

Lucy Addis. Kalen is the only one with his little sister, who is just 7 years old.

Father and his older brother were completely indifferent to Lucy, and his sister and mother Chloe hated her.

A young girl isolated like a loner just because she is the daughter of a maid.

Looking at the child, Kalen felt a strange sense of deja vu.

'When was it? I think I've seen a scene like this before.'

Apparently something similar has happened before. And finally he remembered.

Kanna Addis.

Abuse that happened in this house a long time ago. The thing that even he participated in as the perpetrator. The scratches of childhood when he didn't know anything and acted foolishly.

But now Kalen has grown up. He wasn't the little boy back then.

So he knew what he was doing was a bigoted idiot. Also that it's not right.

Feelings of shame and guilt for doing something wrong. That made he be kind to Lucy. He wanted to do now what he should have done then, but he couldn't.

Whatever he did to Kanna could not be undone, so he wanted to be nice to others. As if he was forced to rewrite a wrong answer, like that.

But Lucy is sick. A younger sister that he should be responsible for.

So he wanted to grab at least a straw. And that choice drove Lucy even more to a dead end.

'I shouldn't have trusted Kanna.'

"This is all your fault. Lucy never been so sick before, but you..."

Kanna, who had been listening intently, couldn't hold until the end and let out a sigh. Ans she opened her eyes wide.

"Is it time for you to whine?"

Kelan kept his mouth shut.

"Of you're going to cry and make a fuss, do it. If you want to curse and resent me, do it. But not now. You seem to have been swept away by your emotion and forgot!"

Kanna stopped talking strongly. She stroked, raised her hand and pointed at Lucy.

"Your sister is sick! Can't you get out of here right now?"

As if scolded, a bad commands falls.

Kalen was completely dumbfounded and couldn't say anything more.

His head was tingling as if he had been stabbed in the back of the head. His mind, clouded with guilt and sorrow, flashed back.

Like it or not, Kanna pushed him away and went to Lucy. As they said, her condition was not good.
