{third person's pov}

Ishika stood in front of the mirror staring at her 4-month-old baby bump, her face laced with a proud smile as she stared at the reflection. Today she was supposed to have her monthly check-up.

"You look beautiful, berry," Garv said, his voice low and gentle. "Ready to go to your appointment?"

Ishika shifted her gaze from her baby bump to Garv and nodded at him,
"Alright, let's go."

He took her hand in his, and together they walked out of the house towards the car, Garv helping her into the passenger seat before getting into the driver's seat himself. He started the car and started driving towards the clinic, all the while stealing glances at Ishika in the passenger seat. Ishika was staring out of the window admiring the lively environment.

As the car stopped she removed her seat belt. Garv parked the car outside the clinic and got out, quickly walking around to the passenger side to open the door for Ishika. He took her hand as she got out of the car, steadying her as she stood up. He wrapped his arm around her waist as they walked towards the entrance of the clinic.

They both entered the doctor's cabin and greeted the doctor. The doctor greeted them warmly and invited them to sit down in the consultation room. Garv helped Ishika into the chair before taking a seat next to her. The doctor began to ask her some questions about her health and the pregnancy, and Garv sat silently next to her.

"We will do a quick checkup," the doctor said and guided Ishika to the bed which was covered with curtains, while Garv stayed seated on his seat.

He sat motionless on his seat, his hands clasped together, anxiously waiting for the checkup to finish.

After a few minutes, Ishika came out and sat next to him again, the doctor took his seat too before speaking further, "everything is good, but Mrs. Kapoor you have to be very careful. You are too weak to carry the child please pay extra attention to your diet. Also the baby is totally healthy."

Garv listened intently as the doctor spoke, his expression worried and concerned. He knew Ishika had been neglecting her own health in her efforts to take care of him, and now it was taking a toll on her pregnancy. He turned to her, his eyes filled with worry.

" you need to take care of yourself first and foremost...the baby needs you to be healthy."

Ishika nodded at his words with a smile, they both got up and exited the cabin.

He led her to the car and helped her into the passenger seat before getting into the driver's seat himself. As he buckled his seatbelt, he turned to look at her, his eyes soft as she spoke,

"You have taken a day off right?" She asked, Garv nodded, his eyes on the road as he drove.

He glanced at her, a small smile playing on his lips.
"Why do you ask, berry?"

"Let's go somewhere, please." She said showing him her puppy eyes.

"Alright, alright," he said with a sigh, a small chuckle escaping his lips. "Where do you want to go, berry?"

"Maybe shopping? We can buy clothes for our baby?" She asked with a meek smile playing on her lips. "But wait, we don't know the gender yet." She added.

Garv chuckled at her suggestion.

" don't worry about the gender, we can buy some gender-neutral clothes for now. Maybe a few onesies or something like that. Or maybe clothes for both genders? What am I earning for?"
