"So, what's the deal with the hot pilot and the grumpy saviour?" Morris asks, while he waits for the last ones to show up for the meeting. "They dated or something?"

Everyone turns their attention toward Mac who knows the both you.

"No. But they should've." Mac tells them, annoyed with the two of you, though hopeful now that you've been reunited.

"Why haven't they tried to be more than friends?" Suyin asks and Mac shrugs.

"Too many insecurities. Life came in the way. Heller.." Mac glares at the doctor.

"Heller?" Jax asks.

"How have I've been in the way?" Heller asks confused.

"You drove him away from us, when they were this close to admitting their feelings." He says holding his finger and thumb up with barely any space between them. Heller looks down guiltily. "Jonas is to blame too, though. He pushed her away when she tried to be there for him. But he couldn't handle her seeing him that way, drowning himself in self pity. He feels like she deserves better, and she does. But he can be better, he's already showing that by coming here." Mac says.

Then the doors open, and you come into the room with Meying, talking about some funny colourful fishes she had seen earlier that day outside the glass walls.

"Hey, Mac?" You says as you come up to him.

"Yeah?" He answer.

"Could you go get Jonas in few, and show him the way here?" You ask him.

"Why me, can't you?" He asks confused.

"He wasn't ready when i came by. And.. I might've told him that he can ask the AI for directions when he's ready." You grin mischievously.

"But we don't have..." He starts confused, then realising from your wicked smile that you're just playing with Jonas. "And he believed you because of the showers." He chuckles at you. "Poor guy, I'm gonna find him trying to talk to a wall or something aren't I?" He laughs. "I can't miss that." He walks out to get Jonas.

Jonas walks out of the dorm after he's changed and ready, he looks around awkwardly.

"Uh.. Where is the conference room?" He tries and just as he does Mac comes past the corner.

"Trying to ask God for directions, brother?" Mac tease.

"Uh.. I was just.. Yn said to ask the computer or something for directions, like the shower was voice activated."

"Nah, only the bathroom is voice activated here, don't worry brother." He says laughing at your joke.

"Of course." Jonas mumbles, shaking his head at your joke.

He follows Mac to get to the conference room.

"She's still single." Mac states out of the blue.

"I didn't ask anything." Jonas tries to hide his relief.

"I know." Mac says with an innocent smile.

Then reaching the door to the conference room, he stops and Jonas stop beside him, confused.

"Open sesame." Mac tells the door and looks teasingly at Jonas, who rolls his eyes and open the door to the conference room.

"Ha! It worked." Mac says and follows after a grumbling Jonas.

Mac and Jonas walk in and you look to the entrance, seeing Jonas search the room with his eyes, until he finds you. Then he points at you discreetly and punches his fist into his palm indicating he'll get his revenge for your little prank.

You chuckle to yourself, before Suyin speaks up and the screen shows an image and information on The Megalodon.

"This is what attacked us. A Megalodon." She states from beside the screen as she points to it.

"How big is that thing?" Dj asks.

"Between 70 and 90 feet, 21 to 27 meters. The megalodon was the largest shark that ever existed. It feared nothing. It had no predators." She continues to show the little presentation on the screen. Showing in scale how huge the Meg is compared to other big water creatures. "It's jaw we're stronger than any other animal, ever. The Meg could bite a whale in half, crushing through the bones." She says.

"We are in uncharted territory." Her father adds. "Until today, Megalodons were thought to have been extinct for over two million years."

"Wrong." Dj states, just because.

"A living fossil." Jax says from beside you.

"That living fossil ate my friend." Wall states. You all look at Wall, upset about the loss of a good friend.

"I cannot begin to express my sadness for Toshi's death." Dr. Zhang says. "We have the discovery of a lifetime. This is what Toshi worked for. It's what we all worked for. But we're going to have to proceed slowly."

"Yeah, that's really not gonna work for me." Morris says, and you all look at him. "What is Mana One?"

"This station?"

"Yeah. And what's it doing?" Morris asks. "Hmm? Right now."

Dj looks around confused.

"Exactly." Morris says. "Nothing.. $20 million rover, gone. $30 million sub, gone. You are now sitting in the most expensive underwater marine biology day camp in human history."

"Hey, Crazy." Meying whispers with her new nickname for Jonas and gestures him to get down to her level from beside him. He looks down and smiles, bending down to her.

"And now that we've actually found something amazing, we can't proceed slowly." Morris continues.

"Thank you for keeping your promise." The little girl tells Jonas.

"Your welcome." He whispers.

"You don't quit trying to get to the moon, because you lose an astronaut. You charge forward." Morris says as Meying goes to leave, patting Jonas on the shoulder as she passes him. "Or someone else will get there first. Other people will want a piece of this thing, whether we like it or not."

"You seem to like it." Jonas says, now standing again leaning on a shelf.

"Excuse me?" Morris asks.

"I said, you seem to like it." He repeats a bit louder.

"I'm sorry. Is he part of this team?" Morris asks everyone around the table. Before you get to say anything Wall answers angrily.

"You're damn right he's part of this team." He tells him with a stern look.

"Okay." Morris raises his hand.

Mac and you smirk. Jonas comes walking closer to the table.

"You ever think that Mother Nature might know what she's doing? The thermocline might just be there for a reason?" Jonas says. "Hey, look, you wanna explore? Go ahead, explore. Not you, Yn." He adds hurriedly looking at you sternly before giving Morris his attention again. "But if you start sending people back down there, don't call me to come save your asses." He adds.

You roll your eyes at his attempt to keep you safe, smiling slightly at the thought. You ignore the knowing look Suyin is giving you.

"Because in case what happened down there wasn't clear to you, man vs meg isn't a fight. It's a slaughter." Jonas adds lastly. Standing on the other side of the table from you, his arms crossed over his chest.

"What you people discovered is an even bigger goldmine than we ever thought possible." Morris ignores him, addressing everyone else.

"We are completely unprepared to deal with creatures like the Meg." You tell him.

"I understand, and we can get prepared, I'm talking about a long-term plan." Morris says and you all start talking over each other.

A strange rumble is felt through the station and you all go silent.

"What's was that?" Mac asks.

"Meying." Suyin says worriedly and runs out the conference room. You run off after her.
