Author Note:
I do NOT own anything from 'The Meg', this is only a fanfiction. All credit goes to the creators!

- In my version of the story, Lori doesn't exist and there is no romance with Suyin.

I've written some Bonus Chapters, which isn't stuff from the movie, just parts I've written for my fanfic version :-) I put them in with the story in chronological order. So the story doesn't start until the page that is Chapter 1. You could skip to that and read the Bonus Chapters later if you rather.

When I came back to edit this story, some time after I first published, I added new pages and split up chapters. So that's why some chapters here and there in the middle of the book have another date of publishing, more or less views and votes, and why some comments might not match the page they're in. Because then those comments were probably intended for a paragraph that I later edited and it ended up on a new or different page.

Yn : Your name (or whatever name you want)

This is an age gap story, but I try not to be too specific about age. Because people have different opinions on what is too big of an age gap. I think the circumstances of how the two met, when and the intent from the beginning also affects if it's too big gap or not.
Like for example, I think it's weird if the two with an age gap have met when the younger one was a minor. Even if they didn't look at that person that way then, it still feels weird to me. (Just my personal opinion btw.) And if the older one is the same age as the younger one's parents, it can be weird. In my stories, Yn rarely has a family, but that's not because I want to avoid the change it being awkward. Because the parents she had or has, they got Yn in a late age in my mind, and are therefore the same age as the parents of the love interest that has an age gap from her. That also includes Yn's adoptive father in one of my books, he's also the same age as the parents.
I believe that if there's an age gap couple, it should be between two people who are mature and good morals. Not someone who's in it for the physical/money and or just jumps into a relationship. That's why my characters who has an age gap are either hesitant in the beginning or just takes their time to get to know the other. And then, when they know it's the right person and the right time for both of them, they are more open and it's an happy ending with little to no awkwardness for people around them. If you ask me, that is. But you didn't, so I'm sorry if you find it tiring to read all this. I just felt like saying it.

My point is; You are welcome to imagine whatever age if you want, or you can just ignore the whole age gap thing.
BUT when imagining their ages, the younger one, in this case that's Yn, has to be at least the legal age 21, preferably a few years or more past that too. Even if you as a reader aren't, the character Yn has to be. Especially when it's an age gap story.

English is not my native language, just so you're warned.

This was my first book ever on Wattpad btw!

I hope you enjoy my version of the story! If you do, remember to vote and comment, to let me know ;-)
