Soxinz IV

As they enter the hotel room, Sohyun immediately sits the drunk Xinyu on the bed. Before that, Sohyun already met Xinyu's secretary and found out that she has a hotel room here. She got the access card from him and volunteered to send Xinyu herself.

"Aahhh...~ It's so hot here...~", Xinyu's sighing as she brushes away her long hair from her neck. Her eyes closed as she felt kinda sleepy from that drink.

She unbuttoned her choker and let it fall as she felt hot and bothered. Then, she falls on her hand on the bed and is ready to sleep but after seeing Sohyun that just sits beside her, she immediately gets up again.

"Sohyun ahhh...~", she's whining while trying to reach Sohyun to hug her.

"Look at you. You did it again.... And still being so stubborn to tell me the truth. I know that is the reason why you're being like this, right? If you don't want to tell me, it's okay. You don't have to be like this. What are you? My adopted baby?", and again, Sohyun need to nag her. It's like their old days where Sohyun always has to babysit Xinyu.

She's caressing Xinyu's hair and organizing it because it's messy. But, Xinyu waved away her hand and insisted on back hugging her.

Xinyu's resting her head on Sohyun's left shoulder. As their heads are next to each other and only leaving some inches apart, they both stay silent.

Xinyu's hands are hugging Sohyun tightly from behind including her hands making her can't move anymore. Then, she also leans her head on Xinyu's head after she sees that Xinyu is sleeping or maybe just closing her eyes.

This drunk Xinyu suddenly doesn't look like her. Before this, she might be more energetic and childish when she's drunk. But today she seems so calm and peaceful.

After a while, Xinyu moves her face to Sohyun's neck. Hugging her deeper until her face is hidden between Sohyun's neck and hair.

Their skin is touching each other. Xinyu's nose is touching the skin on Sohyun's neck. Their ears are brushing each other. Xinyu's breath is clearly inhaled and exhaled towards the skin of Sohyun. The smell of luxury perfume is the only smell Xinyu could process now since it comes from Sohyun's neck.

As they have been silent, Xinyu finally opens her mouth with a whispering voice.

"I'm getting married".

Then, they stayed silent....

For a while....

Sohyun is staying silent....

Only the sound of AC they could hear right now because it's too quiet. The ambience of the room that is only decorated with a small yellow light from the lamp on the table seems so cold and tense unlike before Xinyu opened her mouth.

Only one sentence came out from Xinyu's mouth but her heart feels like it's shattered into pieces. Her wide-opened eyes just now are slowly getting teary. Her heart feels like it was skipping a beat just now when she heard that sentence.

Her breath can't be organized well now. Her hands that were holding Xinyu's hands just now feel like it lost the energy to keep holding.

"Mianhae... I've burdened you by being drunk... Cuz i think... I can't tell you if.... I'm sober.... Tsk", Xinyu suddenly shed tears. She's hiding her face deeper into Sohyun's neck.

At the moment, Sohyun can't even think straight. She's organizing her mind that suddenly gets so messy in just a second. It feels like she can't even digest the words she just heard. She's stunned and still staying silent.

The secret that Xinyu has been hiding from her is unexpectedly deeper than what she expected. She feels suffocated and devastated. What she thinks she can do now is to make Xinyu calm again and delay the topics only after she calms herself.

It has been a week since the last time they met each other. Sohyun has come back to her country just to bring bad news to her father.

It's devastating to find out that Xinz Group already had a plan to be in alliance with another company through arranged marriage but never tell Hyunz Group straightforwardly. As what Xinyu told her, they just want to see how Sohyun copes with their interview. They have never been considerate with her effort.

And.... What happened to them has ended that day. They're never planning on meeting up again since that day. It's a busy day for Sohyun since her company is in a brink of failure but her father is never tired of finding solutions. And for Xinyu, it's a busy day for her since her father brings her everywhere to plan a good wedding ceremony.

They never had time to meet since then. Yet they still understand each other for the reason why they still can't meet again after that day.

But of course, living their life without having the time to explain and learning the explanation is such a big bother to them. Nothing seems right, not until they get to meet again.

Until one day, Xinyu finally contacted Sohyun and planned on meeting up again. This time, Xinyu herself will come to her.
